Xiadian Town is located in the south of Dawu County, 30km northwest of the county, bordering new towns and Pengdian Township in the north, Liuji Town in the east, Fangfan Town and Xiaowu Township in Xiaochang County in the west and huangpi district in the south. The whole town has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committees, 198 villagers' groups with 6840 households. Xiadian Town is located at the junction of huangpi district, Xiaochang County and Dawu County. With convenient transportation, 304 Provincial Highway, Jason Highway and expressway, Ma Zhu pass through the territory. Ma Zhu Expressway has a living service area and interchange in China, and there is a connecting line from the exit to Xiaogan North Station of Shiwu High-speed Railway. The whole town has basically achieved full coverage of roads in the whole village.
