Meridian massage technology
Meridian massage is a massage technique strictly based on the scientific principles of meridians in traditional Chinese medicine. Doctors make a diagnosis according to the differentiation of meridians, and then massage by moving meridians, and then adjust the massage methods of Ren Du Er Mai (called Xiao Zhou Tian in ancient times) and the twelve meridians (called Da Zhou Tian in ancient times). In nature, meridian massage belongs to the category of external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine. From the attribute of massage, meridian massage belongs to the original mainstream of Chinese massage medicine.

Meridian massage originated from Huangdi Neijing. Su Wen, in the form of a monograph, expounded the origin of various therapies of traditional Chinese medicine from a broad perspective of medical geography. Among them, the massage comes from the center. Massage therapy originated in the Central Plains because: "People in the Central Plains are flat and wet, and there are many things in the world. Their diseases are often fistula, syncope, cold and heat, and the treatment should be guided by stilts." The book "Soul Pivot, Acupoint, True Evil" says: "It is hot all over the body, and people look at it crazily, listen to it and speak. They take it from Yangming and collaterals, replenish it if it is deficient, and drain it if it is full of blood. Because they are lying down, they press the carotid artery with two hands and four fingers, hold it for a long time, roll and push it until they fall into the basin, and then stop as before, and the heat will dissipate. " This paper expounds the treatment of diseases by meridian massage in Neijing, and introduces its operation methods, including the methods of grasping, pressing, rolling and cutting, and the principle of "pushing and dispersing"

Matters needing attention

When massaging, you must pay attention to the following points:

1. Make a clear diagnosis, choose acupoints, and determine the technique, so as to be aware of it, consider it comprehensively, have a center and focus.

2. According to different diseases and massage parts, take the appropriate massage position. This posture should make the patient comfortable, convenient for treatment and conducive to the operation of various manipulations. Whether you massage yourself or someone else, you should pay attention.

3. The operation procedure, intensity and time of massage should be adjusted at any time according to the patient's systemic and local reactions and the changes after treatment. Moreover, we must master the principle of treating the "standard" if we are urgent, and treating the "root" if we are slow.

4. Explain the patient well, and tell the patient not to be nervous, relax muscles, breathe naturally, and let him take off his coat and loosen his belt. Massage the back and lower abdomen, first empty the urine. Patients who are hungry, full and drunk are not suitable for massage. Generally, it is better to massage for 2 hours after meals.

Be patient, earnest, cordial and responsible to patients, so that patients can trust doctors and cooperate with treatment. Pay attention to relaxation and timing when you massage yourself.
