Side effects of immunity

What are the side effects when immunity works? It can generally include the following aspects:

In (1) immune reaction, some substances produced will do harm to human body. The most typical is the free radicals produced by macrophages when they are used to kill pathogens. After release, they will also cause oxidative damage to normal human cells around pathogens.

(2) Immune response is a state of stress, which will cause various discomforts and consume human energy. For example, if you are suddenly woken up in a deep sleep, you will immediately enter a high-intensity working state. At this time, you will feel sleepy all over and consume a lot of energy.

Therefore, it is easy to feel sleepy, listless and slow-witted when catching a cold, which is the inevitable result when immunity plays its role. At this time, you need to rest more and let your body recover as soon as possible.

(3) Whether in order to produce new immune cells or improve the lethality of immune cells, the body will actively raise its body temperature when it is infected with the virus, consuming the body's material and energy. For ordinary creatures, matter and energy are very precious.

Compared with hard-working bees, under the same limited food supply, the "worker bees" who have been working continuously in the immune system will survive for a shorter time than those who have not been activated by immunity.

(4) When the immunity to a certain virus plays a role, it may reduce the immunity to other bacteria. This is the reason why patients with primary influenza virus are prone to secondary bacterial pneumonia in medicine.

At present, the side effects of immunity cannot be eliminated. Therefore, healthy immunity is not as strong as possible, but can be balanced before considering the strength of the enemy and ourselves to minimize the harm to the body.

To study this complicated and precise work, it is the work of medical researchers to maintain a healthy body and keep immunity in a relatively healthy and balanced state for ordinary people.
