Anqing Library has a profound cultural heritage and a hundred years of history, which has accumulated precious collections. At present, the total collection of paper documents is 320,000 volumes (pieces), with more than 85,000 kinds of ancient books that meet the requirements, including 432 rare books1kind, and 9 kinds have been selected into the National List of Precious Ancient Books published by the State Council. There are 230,000 Chinese general books and newspapers. In addition, there are more than 500,000 kinds of electronic books and periodicals with 20TB digital resources. There are three existing buildings: the main hall of Linghu South Road, the children's branch and the Jixian South Road branch. There are service windows and departments such as book circulation, newspaper reading, electronic reading, ancient books consulting, local literature and government public information, "Anqing Forum" public lecture, children's reading room, reading room for the elderly, reading room for the blind and editing department, information network department, education and training department, and science and technology innovation service department. 20 13 10 was rated as a first-class public library by the Ministry of Culture.
