Publication 1? On "Starting from Tao" and "Three Ways and Three Techniques"
"Shi Wen is the most important, while young people are the most important". Besides Inner Dan, Shi Wen Tao also has its own unique features in its philosophical system. Why is the Tao Te Ching called Yang Fu Jing at the beginning of the text? What are Guan Yinzi and Huang Di Yin Fu Jing saying respectively?
Preface to Shi Wen Tao Te Ching (I)
Hello, listeners, and welcome to Shi Wen Tao Te Ching program. We are all familiar with Tao Te Ching, but what about Shi Wen's Tao Te Ching? Why should we learn from her? What's the special significance of learning from her?
Here, it is necessary to briefly introduce some related contents of Shi Wendao.
Tao can be said to be the highest category of China's philosophy and the foundation of China culture. Hundred schools of thought developed his academic system around this word in the pre-Qin period. Shi Wen Taoist culture is no exception. There is a saying in past dynasties that "the beginning of literature is the highest, and the sun is the biggest." Some people say that the beginning of literature is the highest, higher than the cultivation of Neidan. In fact, it's not just that. His philosophical thought system is even more unique, claiming to be "learning from the emperor". The man said, Is Shi Wendao's thought worthy of the title of "learning from the emperor"? Let's briefly introduce the philosophical thought system of Shi Wen Taoist culture, so that you can have a general understanding first.
There are three classics of Taoist culture worship at the beginning of the text: Tao Te Ching, Guanyin Zi and Huangdi Yinfujing. This represents the "three ways" and "three skills" in the framework of Shi Wen's Taoist culture.
Let's talk separately:
(1) Three remarks
Taoist culture at the beginning of the text divided Taoism into three ways: heaven, Taoism and Taoism.
Heaven is the avenue in Zhouyi, which emphasizes "self-improvement", should strive hard, should be proactive, should do their best and so on.
Authentic, that is, the Kundao in Zhouyi, stresses "respecting morality and carrying things", forbearing and retreating, keeping a low profile, governing by doing nothing, not arguing and so on.
Humanism is compatible with Gankun Tao and camera, and it acts according to time, place, people and situation, and does nothing to govern, doing something but not doing something; It's time to fight, and it's time to fight. If you are already in a high position and have a successful career, then you should know how to hide your strength, know how to retire after success, and know how to go too far. What should I do if I can't do it at present, with little fame, no profit and no gain? Fight! You can't blame others and passively accept your fate. The core concept of "doing it properly every week" of the literati road is to put the most suitable action plan into practice and achieve satisfactory results.
(2) Three Skills Theory
The so-called "Dharma is like the earth, and saints use it" has three ways, and there are three corresponding technologies, namely, Yang, Yin and Harmony. Art is a strategy to guide words and deeds realized from Tao. Taoist thought can be divided into three parts: Huangdi Neijing, Laozi and Guanyin Zi.
Yang Shu 1
There are actually many categories of the Yellow Emperor, but most of them have been lost. Yin Fu Jing is the most representative work of Yang Shu's thought. Don't take it for granted that the content is about yin. On the contrary, he is talking about Yang Shu, which is aimed at negative people. What is a negative person? Is an impossible person, a person with low status and passive resignation. The core idea of Yin Fu Jing is the word "thief". "There are five thieves in the sky, and those who see them are prosperous. The five thieves are in the heart and implemented in the sky. " So what does "five thieves" mean? To understand the meaning of the five thieves, we must first understand what the word "thief" means. The word "thief" and the word "thief" are cognate words, and the word "thief" plus the word "ge" indicates the rule of force assistance. It can be seen that the thief means abnormal, disobedient to rules, unwilling to go with the flow, unwilling to accept fate, able to violently resist and detain, not sticking to the rules, not playing cards according to the routine and so on.
I understand the meaning of the word "thief". What do you mean by "five thieves"? Five thieves represent five laws against nature. These five laws against nature were generally expressed by Ke Sheng's five elements in ancient times. The positive correlation between the five elements is called "five virtues"; The inverse relationship of the five elements is called "Five Thieves", and we all know the positive relationship of the five elements, that is, "wood fires, fire produces soil, native gold, gold produces water, aquatic wood" and "Jin Kemu, wood produces soil, native water, aquatic fire, and fire produces gold". The "five thieves" refer to the relationship of five elements, that is, "fire gives birth to wood, wood gives birth to water, aquatic gold, gold gives birth to soil, and soil makes a fire" and "wood, gold, hawk, fire breaks water, water breaks soil, and earth breaks wood". Every word in the five elements is ordinary, and the true words in the five elements are true and false.
In addition to the obvious rules that any of us can see, there are some subtle anti-rules that need to be discovered with our eyes. Understand, it will become powerful and can be "applied to the sky." As the bottom of society, if you don't struggle, you will never achieve anything. The so-called "whoever steals the hook will be punished, and whoever steals the country will be punished." The change of dynasties in the past dynasties is that a group of social elites understand the "five thieves" in the Yellow Emperor, can emancipate their minds, are not bound by shackles, and then struggle and finally succeed. That's not destiny takes a hand!
2. Vaginal surgery
The so-called extremes meet, too much is too late. You have achieved great success. If you still use the "Five Thieves" in Yin Fu Huangdi Neijing to guide your words and deeds, something will definitely go wrong. then what Laozi's Tao Te Ching tells people another truth, that is, to govern by doing nothing, not to argue, to retire after success, and so on. If Yin Fu Jing is full of domineering, then Tao Te Ching seems to be passive to Nuo Nuo. But this is the low-key of the strong, not the inferiority of the weak. Successful people must understand that it is impossible to be aloof from the cold. This is the truth. Low-key, forbearance and concession are the basic qualities, otherwise the extremes meet, and the disaster will not be far away.
Since the Yellow Emperor is called Yin Fu Jing, should Lao Zi be called Yang Fu Jing? That's true. Tao Te Ching is indeed called Yang Fu Jing in Shi Wen Taoist culture, and it is for those who are in the sun. What is a man with excessive yang? That is, those who are successful, or those who have outstanding strengths in a certain aspect or field. Because you have the ability, strength and status in a certain respect, you will inevitably be arrogant, arrogant and arrogant. This is a sign of excessive yang.
then what Then we should do nothing, fight and yield actively, purposefully, planned and premeditated on the basis of introspection, self-knowledge and self-knowledge. This is what Laozi's Tao Te Ching wants to tell us. It doesn't mean passively doing nothing, arguing or giving in. What is the purpose of inaction, non-contention and concession? Of course, it is invincible, and it can last forever. How? This requires methods and means, that is, art.
The word "Shu" is mentioned in the first edition of Tao Te Ching. For example, like the Tao Te Ching in bamboo slips, "it is not advisable to keep this skill to assist people, not to be stronger than the world with soldiers". The word "Shu" also appears in many places in the Taoist Classic on bamboo slips, which is obviously completely different from the word "Dao". Unfortunately, the word "Shu" was changed to "Dao" in the collated bamboo slips of Tao Te Ching.
If the core idea of Huangdi Yin Fujing is "thief", then the core idea of Tao Te Ching is a word "Miao". The original meaning of "zhi" is to be able to untie difficult knots, especially very small and subtle knots. This generally requires people to turn a blind eye to see clearly, so the mysterious word "Miao" is connected with the word "Miao". The purpose of this is to turn a blind eye, and it is also a way to show things in one yin and one yang. Only by using Yin He's dialectics can we see the problem more clearly and thoroughly and live more intelligently. In this way, even if we are villagers and fishermen, we are at the bottom of society, but we can understand the possible starting point and purpose of some ideas and practices of those high-level societies, and then we can give our own judgments and opinions. It can be said that there are many such people in history. Although they live in seclusion in the countryside, this does not prevent them from pointing out the country and discussing world affairs. In this way, the world is indifferent and naturally learned. There are some things that we can't do, but we can't help thinking. We can't do it, maybe because we are kind and kind. If we can't figure it out, it would be foolish.
Therefore, the word "Miao" can be understood as the ability to see problems dialectically, thoroughly and accurately, to understand problems, and to solve problems flexibly and skillfully.
3. Harmony.
Let's talk about Yin and Yang among the three techniques, and then let's look at "Hehe".
As we all know, the owner of the road is masculine. If there are too many, it is easy to be insatiable and radical. Kundao is feminine, too much, and slack and pretentious. In other words, being too rigid is harmful, and being too soft is equally harmful.
Each of us has our own advantages, which is our positive side; Similarly, everyone has his shortcomings and shortcomings, and no one is omnipotent. This is our subtle side. Liezi said, "Heaven and earth are omnipotent, saints are omnipotent, and everything is omnipotent." The emperor is supreme, but not necessarily the champion of Wu. The reason why the emperor can be supreme is that he knows how to exchange his own advantages for the help of others to make up for his own shortcomings. This is the complementarity of yin and yang. If you are good at something, and you can humble, concede and share in it, your humility, concession and even sharing are all gifts to others. Even if you give others not material benefits, but only courtesy respect or inner comfort, you will get recognition, support and help from others. In this way, where you are not good, you become stronger. Knowing the turn of Yin and Yang is the method and truth that emperors can control the top martial arts scholars to serve themselves, although they are not top martial arts scholars.
Therefore, when you study Taoist culture, you will unconsciously examine your own advantages and disadvantages at all times, and then adjust your daily words and deeds. In this way, the behavior will be "decent". Do what, do what, do what, do what, do what, do what, do what, do what, do what, do what, do what.
Therefore, in addition to Yin and Yang, Shi Wen Taoist culture also talks about a kind of "harmony technique" for political construction, that is, paying equal attention to literature and martial arts, and combining benevolence and righteousness in punishment. For our daily life, that is to know and transform nature. This ideological system is represented by Guanyin Zi. The core idea of Guanyin Zi lies in the word "take". He also practiced the two techniques of Gankun and applied the two techniques of Yin and Yang, so as to gain insight into the nature of heaven and earth, know the thief and know the mystery, and then seize the nature of heaven and earth and steal the opportunity of Yin and Yang, thus turning the theory of the exchange and complementarity between heaven and earth into daily operable words and deeds and putting it into practice without hesitation.
For example, there is no ice in summer, no thunder in winter, and dead trees cannot bloom. What can we do as human beings in the face of these natural laws of heaven and earth? Guan Yinzi said, it's very simple and easy to handle! Anything is possible as long as you master the method of yin and yang exchange and complement each other. "If a bowl is a jar, if a bottle is a jar, if an urn is an angel, you can build heaven and the earth ... (Heaven and earth) like a room, a boat and a car, treating people, but not being self-contained ... the five elements are endless ... circulation and natural forces, such as thunder in winter and ice in summer ... dead wood can flourish." What do you mean? Nature is nothing more than five elements, and Jin Mu is like fire, water and earth. Just find a pot or bowl or spittoon, pour the five elements into it according to a certain formula proportion, and then carry out corresponding operations according to the law of yin and yang exchange and complementarity. Don't say anything, just simulate how to "build" a world system again, and that's it! Things like "Thundering in winter, making ice in summer, and carving rotten wood" are all a piece of cake.
The man said, this is all imagination. Can it really be realized? Not to mention the rest, the Western Han Dynasty's "Huainan Wanbi Book" recorded the point of "making ice in summer", which was made by physical cooling and depressurization in summer. Later in the Song Dynasty, Su Shi and Su Dongpo recorded a similar story in his book Empathy: "Xia Yue's hot soup goes into the well and turns into ice". Until now, refrigerators have appeared in every household, and the magic of "making ice in summer" is now commonplace. What's more, the establishment of the space station, in which experiments of biological ecosystems are also carried out, is this not to simulate the construction of another world system? It can be seen that Guan Yinzi's foresight based on the theory of natural heaven is prescient.
Do you see it? Taoism is the most scientific experimental spirit and practical spirit. No matter how great their practical achievements are in history, their spirit of understanding and transforming nature is correct. Ancient myths, such as the goddess mending the sky, Dayu controlling the water, Houyi shooting at the sun, etc. They are legendary stories, but they are probably projections of real historical events, reflecting the indomitable thoughts of the ancients and the practical spirit of transforming nature. Comparatively speaking, the legend in ancient western civilization is the story of Noah's Ark, which shows the different cultural values of China and the West in the face of natural disasters: one is the change of the world, and the other is the escape from reality.
"Yellow Emperor" is suitable for particularly weak people to strive for self-improvement, and "Lao Zi" is suitable for particularly powerful people to give in, which can be said to be biased towards one end of yin and yang. Guan Yinzi, on the other hand, is a kind of thought of neutralization of yin and yang, which is suitable for the middle class who can't get up and down, and is neither high nor low. He focuses on teaching people to turn seemingly lofty ideas into practical daily behaviors. Advance can rule the country and level the world, retreat can cultivate self-cultivation, and success can be extraordinary.
However, if we can't deeply understand the Yin and Yang techniques of Huangdi and Laozi first, then Guan Yinzi's harmony techniques will become elusive and at a loss.
