What is the difference between a population and a community in an ecosystem?
Zhejiang version of population definition: refers to the aggregate of unified species individuals occupying a certain time and space. Usually a species contains many populations. For example, fish is a species and carp is a population.

Definition of community: Community refers to the aggregate of all biological populations in a certain space, which has a certain structure, a certain species composition and a certain interspecific relationship and can be repeated in areas with similar environmental conditions. A community always develops many kinds of animals, plants and microorganisms.

Definition of ecosystem: Ecosystem is an ecological function system composed of biological community and abiotic environment.

In other words, multiple populations form a community, and the community and the abiotic environment form an ecosystem.
