Do you know several common ways to solve the fish tank bloom?
For many fish farmers, fish farming should not only fight fish, but also fight algae. Is fish tank bloom good or bad? It varies from person to person. Some fish friends long for algae to grow in fish tanks, while others hate algae and want to get along with it. The reason for the two completely different attitudes is the conflict between the different uses and types of algae and the mentality of fish farmers.

Now, let's take a look at several common algae in fish tanks:

First, brown diatom is a kind of primitive algae with tenacious vitality, which often appears at the bottom of fish tanks, especially when the light is dark. Algae are usually brown, and the monomer can be found to be oval under the microscope. Diatom itself is harmless. When fish are hungry, they can eat it to satisfy their hunger. The only drawback is that it is spread at the bottom of the cylinder like a layer of mud, which affects the appearance a little.

Killing method: if you want to remove diatoms, the best time is the early stage, which is easy to wipe off. You can also put some tools such as fish and shrimp.

Second, the common algae in the moss aquarium grow fast and have strong adhesion, so it is difficult to remove them. This kind of algae is easy to produce when there is enough light. At first, it was light green, as light as a film, and fish could eat it. After a long time, the light green will get deeper and older, and finally become dark green, and the thicker it accumulates, the scab will condense and it will be difficult to remove. Generally, crusted fish can't be eaten, and the green moss will affect the water quality after rotting.

Killing method: if it is to be removed, it is generally recommended to remove it at the early stage of growth. Otherwise, once scabbing occurs in the later stage, steel balls and hard brushes can only be used, and the dead angle of the fish tank may only be dug out bit by bit.

Thirdly, the two kinds of algae, Porphyridium sp. and Phaeodactylum sp., often accompany each other. The spotted green algae are dark green filaments at first, and some will turn black after a long time, or they may be attached to the black algae. Chaetoceros is very tenacious, which makes it almost the most annoying algae in fish tanks. At close range, it looks like a black line, but at a distance, it looks like a mildew spot, which grows rapidly and is difficult to control. Besides, fish are basically not eaten, and it is harmful to stay in the tank.

Killing method: First, killing algae artificially is the first step. Increase the change of water, put the germicidal lamp and take it out directly. Secondly, put some tools to kill harmful algae, such as zebra snail, apple snail, river algae, shrimp, etc. Finally, prescribe drugs, such as glutaraldehyde and white vinegar.

4. Flaky filamentous algae occur from time to time in fish tanks, and individual ones are very slender and almost invisible to naked eyes. But once it becomes large, you can clearly see a piece of green filamentous algae, because filamentous algae often float on the water surface, which is not easy to clean up and needs to be salvaged frequently. There is nothing very bad in itself, but the biggest problem is that it affects the appreciation.

Killing method: 1, the most direct way, directly fished out, but it is not easy to clean, filamentous algae has certain adsorption. 2. Remove sundries and reduce attach rate; 3. Biological treatment: throwing tools such as fish, shrimp and snails.

5. Green water and green water are also common problems in aquariums. Green water often erupts suddenly, which makes fish friends unprepared. In fact, the harm of green water is not great. On the contrary, this kind of algae can purify water, absorb and transform harmful substances, which is beneficial to the aquarium, but it is very unsightly and not conducive to viewing. The reason of green water is that unicellular green algae, such as Chlorella and Chlamydomonas, breed in water. Chlorella vulgaris is a very efficient single-celled photosynthetic plant, which grows and reproduces through photosynthesis. Although this primitive and ancient plant is only 3-8μm in diameter, it can survive tenaciously in the long history of earth changes, which shows how vigorous its vitality is.

Killing method: 1 Strengthen physical filtration, wash cotton regularly, change water regularly and quantitatively, eliminate ammonia and nitrate, clean up food residue and metabolic waste in time, and reduce fish density and feeding quantity. 2, reasonable lighting, lighting time should not be too long. 3. Use germicidal lamp or coagulant to remove algae. 4, put some water fleas to eat Chlorella, the actual operability is not strong.

Conclusion: The algae explosion in the tank should be treated correctly. This is not necessarily a bad thing. When do fish not live with algae in nature? While removing algae, we should also keep a normal mind and calmly find out the cause of algae bloom. After all, water quality is the direct cause of algae bloom.
