Miyin Temple is located on the mountainside of Weishan Mountain in Ningxiang County, under Pilufeng. It is the birthplace of Luyang Sect, one of the five Buddhist Zen masters in China. In the second year of Yuanhe in Tang Xianzong (807), a monk from Ling You came to Weishan to practice, and Prime Minister Pei Xiu asked the court to give him the name "Maha Temple" and build a temple. Tantra refers to the tantric religion introduced into China from India. Master Ling You is a monk who worships Shan Zong in Nanyue of Hengshan Mountain, so there is a connection at the temple gate: "Fayu came to Heng Yue; Zongfeng Fuyang Mountain. " According to historical records, during the Tang and Song Dynasties, Miyin Temple occupied a vast area with a magnificent hall. It is said that there are thousands of monk pots and Hong Zhong in the temple, which shocked Shan Ye. Miyin Temple inherits the legal system and is an auspicious place to support ancestors. His ancestral style is unique in the history of Buddhism in China, and his legal successor has a long history. The founders of Miyin Temple were Zen Master Ling You and Zen Master Bai Tai in Tang Dynasty. Famous abbots in the past dynasties, including Master Song Kongyin, Master Ming Che Dang, Master Qing Huishan and Master Bao in the Republic of China. The most famous in history are Pei Xiu, prime minister of Tang Dynasty, Chen, wife of Pei Xiu, and Zhang Wei, a famous thinker of Song Dynasty. Miyin Temple was founded more than 1000 years ago, and it has been rebuilt many times after the change of dynasties. The existing buildings include the mountain gate, the main hall (ten thousand Buddha Hall), the back hall, the attached hall, the meditation hall and the ancestral hall, covering an area of more than 9,000 square meters. The mountain gate is tall and solemn, with red three-opening archway masonry structure, yellow glazed tile and arched gate in the middle; Wanfo Hall is the most famous building in Miyin Temple. It is nine feet high and rests on the top of the mountain. It has double eaves and 38 columns inside and outside, all of which are white, granite and golden glazed tile roofs. The wall bricks are more than a foot high, and each brick is cast with a gold-plated Buddha statue, *** 12 182, embedded in the four walls. The Buddha statue is solemn and solemn, and the golden light in the hall is dazzling, which is really a spectacle of China temples. There are many scenes with stories and legends inside and outside Miyin Temple. There is a black stone five feet high and two feet in circumference in the temple. There are two caves in it, which are said to be the place where Pei Xiu's wife, Mrs. Chen, fasted monks. One hole produces oil, and the other hole produces salt, which is called oilstone. Outside the temple, there are Huixin Bridge, Laimujing, Health Pond, Ren Xian Xianbao, Longwangjing, Luhuashui, Jingyan, Lion Rock, 10,000-person bed, Ginkgo biloba and other "ten scenic spots". The temple is surrounded by mountains and waters with extraordinary scenery.
