Xishenggou Scenic Area is located 38 kilometers north of Tangxian County. This is a 14 mile canyon with flying springs and waterfalls. Rivers flow all year round, and nine beautiful Longtan scenic spots are among them. The grotesque rocks in the canyon and the steep cliffs are covered with all kinds of stalactites. Rhododendron, begonia, kudzu vine and shrubs are all over the ditches, forming a southern scenery.
When you swim to Xishenggou, the first thing you see is the dragon sword and the self-invited tablet standing on the left and right cliffs. Entering the mountain gate, Longtan first came into view, and a clear water was crystal clear. Fish, shrimp and aquatic plants set each other off. Not far ahead, deep in the shade is the quiet Longquan Villa. Inside is a valley with a depth of 1,000 meters. Cliffs on both sides are like knives, covered with stone flowers, stalagmites and stalactites. Inside is Erlongtan, and the cliffs are staggered and inverted, like a cave dozens of meters deep. Two streams of water form Erlong Waterfall, which plunges down from a cliff more than ten meters high and growls into a half hole on the right that can accommodate thirty or forty people. Stalactites are upside down and the water is inverted into a line. A few slaps and a few chills make you feel relaxed and happy.
Not far from Erlongtan, there is sanlongtan, which is even more mysterious. Mount Tai-like cliffs and three waterfalls and two pools make you really feel your heartbeat. Crossing the Longtan Lake and the Tiger Falling Down the Hall, not far from Longmen Lake, there is an acre of stone with immortal footprints, lotus pots, fairy bells and immortals hanging on it, which adds endless aftertaste to tourists. Further to the right is Longmen Gorge, which is deep and quiet, and its two walls are hung upside down with stalactites, which is really beautiful. In front is Tianmen Gorge, just like a crack in the mountain. There are Nantianmen, Beitianmen, Dengtianshi and Shangtianti. Through the past, two dragons and spiders, goldfish ashore, turtles in the water, frogs looking at the moon, barking dogs and other vivid scenery will make you linger.
The rock structure of Xishenggou is mostly limestone, which has been eroded by wind and rain, forming green bamboo shoots, spikes and arrow-like peaks. Here, you can enjoy the largest karst peak forest landscape in northern China. Under the peak forest and in the warm valley deep in the dense forest, there is a unique hall without A Liang in Ming Dynasty, and its architectural structure and geographical location are worth studying. Wuliangdian is a key cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province.
Xishenggou Canyon is a group of canyons, including Beitanyu, Wuyingshan, Maolu 'an, ancient pagodas and ancient cottages.
Traveling to Xishenggou is an ideal place for you to find a paradise, where you can freely pick melons and vegetables, cook with a rice mill, and enjoy a leisurely "ravine" farmhouse in the smoke.
