Yang Zhuocheng (1914-2006165438+1October 26th) is an architect of the Han nationality and a master of architecture of the Han nationality. His famous works include Yuanshan Hotel, Cihu Mausoleum, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and National Taiwan University Gymnasium.

Yang Zhuocheng was born in 19 14, and received a bachelor's degree in architecture from National Southwest Associated University and Sun Yat-sen University. After graduation, Yang Zhuocheng founded the Harmonious Architecture Office.

After Yang Zhuocheng moved to Taiwan Province Province with the government of the Republic of China in 1949, he was appreciated by former President Jiang Zhongzheng and his wife Song Meiling and participated in many important landmark buildings in Taiwan Province Province after the war. These include Yuanshan Hotel, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, National Concert Hall and National Theatre, and Cihu Mausoleum. Yang Zhuocheng settled in America in his later years. Architectural Style Yang Zhuocheng is good at using reinforced concrete materials to express the architectural features of China Northern Palace, such as Grand Hotel, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, National Concert Hall and National Theatre. In addition, Yang Zhuocheng's other design styles are quite diverse, such as the Taipei Mosque, which he designed with reference to many Muslim buildings. National Taiwan University Gymnasium is his more modern design. The Central Baishi Mansion designed by Yang Zhuocheng can be said to be one of the representative works of super high-rise office buildings in Taiwan Province Province in the 1980s. Yang Zhuocheng's other designs include the central bank. Yang Zhuocheng's architecture has a strong Chinese style. Yang Zhuocheng, Wang Daqiong and Shen were the first architects from Shanghai after Taiwan Province's war. Because the Japanese did not encourage or allow China people to invest in the research of architectural engineering before the Japanese occupation, Yang Zhuocheng and Wang Daqiong, a group of people, can be said to be important figures in laying the foundation for the transformation of architecture from tradition to modernization in Taiwan Province Province. Aside from the ideology on both sides of the strait, as famous designers of the Han nationality, their contribution to promoting the traditional architectural culture of China is unmatched. On the other hand, on the mainland, a large number of outstanding intellectuals were taken away because the Kuomintang retreated from Taiwan Province Province at that time. This made the backward Republic of China start from scratch after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It has to be said that this is the sorrow of the Chinese nation when the two sides of the Taiwan Strait face each other across the sea. On the other hand, there are many outstanding Han scholars and elites in Taiwan Province Province. Because of the small space on the island of Taiwan Province Province, it is impossible for them to be completely absorbed by the whole Chinese nation. In fact, there are many excellent talents on both sides of the strait, but the lack of communication and exchange has caused internal friction in reality.
