Poetry serves the five hidden gods, and wine gurgles in three fields and one field.

Tieshan Qingshi solves the problem

After investigation, this five-character ancient poem was written in the eighth year of Tang Wenzong Daiwa (834), when Bai Juyi was 62 years old. The poem begins with "thinking about the past and thinking about the future", lamenting that four old friends all died because of taking Dan medicine, and draws the conclusion that Taoist health preservation is unreliable and fatal (as the ancient poem of the unknown man in Han Dynasty said, "Eating for longevity is often due to wrong medicine"), and then summarizes the taboos and conditions of health preservation, expressing the ideological attitude of obeying destiny and being comfortable.

Notes on Tieshan Qingshi

1. Go back, written by Han Yu (768-824), a writer in the middle Tang Dynasty.
