What are the five elements and five permanent members? What are the five permanent members?
1 and P5 refer to which P5? The five permanent members are benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom and faith. In feudal ethics, there are five kinds of relationships between people, namely, monarch, minister, father, son, brother, husband and wife, and friends, which are collectively called five ethics. The combination of five ethics and five permanents can produce five kinds of ethics, namely, five religions, namely, father's righteousness, mother's kindness, brother's friendship, brother's respect and son's filial piety. In addition, the five elements can also be called five elements, because the five elements correspond to gold, wood, water, fire and earth respectively. The five permanent members run through the development of China's ethics and become the core factor in China's value system, which refers to the five basic characters and virtues that people should possess for their own development and social progress. Confucius first put forward "benevolence and courtesy", Mencius extended it to "benevolence, courtesy and wisdom", and Dong Zhongshu extended it to "benevolence, courtesy and wisdom".

The five elements are gold, wood, water, fire and earth. This is an abstract concept used by China in ancient times to refer to all things in the universe, based on the number one, two, three, four, five and their combinations. If all people can take the five unchangeable laws of benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom and faith as the standards of doing things and being a man, society will always maintain peace, so everyone should abide by them and not neglect them.
