Bashan Grand Canyon is located in Xuanhan County at the junction of Sichuan and Chongqing, with an altitude of 452-2480m and a total length of140km. It is a national AAAA scenic spot and a national geological park. The scenic spot consists of Taoxi Valley Leisure Experience Zone, Compass Top Health Care Zone, Baren Valley Folk Leisure Zone and Xikou Lake Ecological Sightseeing Zone. It is a ferry-style town famous for its heroism, adventure, strangeness, beauty and tranquility.

The whole scenic spot is divided into four valleys, five districts, six veins, seven wonders (scenery, rocks, caves, water, objects, funnels and folk customs), eight monsters (hurricane caves, water color fights, fish on mountains, lakes in rocks, birds singing, blowout colors, middle stories, roaring rivers), nine bends, ten peaks, hundred caves and various shapes.
