Liaocheng City, which belongs to Shandong Province, is located in the west of Shandong Province, facing Handan City and Xingtai City of Hebei Province across Zhang Wei in the west, adjacent to Jining City, Tai 'an City, Jinan City and Henan Province across Jindi River and Yellow River in the south and southeast, and bordering Dezhou City in the north and northeast.
