A considerable part of these news are "stars, fish and sex" news. They hate provoking erotic events and gossip, promoting violent crimes, being good at novelty hunting and keen on revealing privacy. The emergence of a large number of "three vulgar" news has crowded out the layout and program time of positive and typical media reports, deviated from the general direction of the socialist core value system, weakened the main theme of media propaganda and polluted the social air. The first victims are often the minors who have the least self-protection ability and sufficient rational judgment ability in society, and they are easily misled by those bad information. First, correct thinking.
On the surface, the spread and flood of "three customs" is caused by media competition, but in fact it is caused by media concepts. Under the condition of socialist market economy, many media are independent and responsible for their own profits and losses. In order to gain a foothold in the fierce competition, some media consciously or unconsciously tend to see the immediate economic benefits. They try to use the "three vulgar" news to cater to the various gray and unhealthy psychology of some audiences, so as to expand the readership, improve the listening rate and ratings, increase the number of clicks, "enhance" their own image and increase advertising revenue. But the result is often counterproductive. If the "three vulgar" news published by a news media is strongly criticized and condemned by the public, its author certainly has an unshirkable responsibility, but as a media gatekeeper, it is also hard to blame: you have not done a good job!
