Biological characteristics of Vibrio parahaemolyticus
Vibrio parahaemolyticus belongs to Vibrio genus of Vibrio family, which is gram-negative and facultative anaerobic, polymorphic or slightly curved. This bacterium is halophilic and acidophilic. The most suitable culture medium: the temperature is 30℃-37℃, the salt content is 2.5%-3% (it will not grow when the salt concentration is lower than 0.5%), and the pH value is 8.0-8.5. This strain is sensitive to acid, and can't grow below pH6. It will die in 1-3 minutes in common vinegar. On solid medium, colonies are usually convex, round, smooth and moist. Rapid propagation in 3%-3.5% salt water with a period of 8-9 minutes. ● Resist high temperature of 50℃ for 50℃20min; at 50℃; ; 65℃ 5min, 80℃ 65438+80℃ 0min can be killed. The resistance of the bacterium to common disinfectants is very weak, and it can be killed by low concentration phenol and coal phenol soap.
