An observation diary about plants. On my balcony, there is a small garden. There are flowers that bloom every day, orchids, rich trees, chlorophytum, and flowers I can't name. My favorite is chlorophytum, because it is my own flower.
I remember last winter, my father brought back a lot of flowerpots from his colleagues' homes, some of which were empty and some of which contained soil, so my father put them in the storage room conveniently. The next spring, when my mother and I went to the storage room to get something, a yellow flowerpot caught my attention, because there was a green leaf in this flowerpot, and all the flowers died, didn't they? Why does it germinate? So I decided to move it home.
I water it every day for a day or two ... I don't know how many days later, that little leaf has grown very big and many leaves have grown. The leaves are not very wide, and the head is a little sharp. I asked my mother, "What kind of flower is this?" Mother said, "This is chlorophytum. Not only looks good, but also purifies the air. " I don't know how many days later, I found several long stems growing on the flowers, and clusters of chlorophytum grew on the stems every five or six centimeters.
Now I have a whole pot of chlorophytum, which is very beautiful. I like my family's chlorophytum. Although it has no bright flowers, it brings us the green of the four seasons.
My favorite flower is lily. It represents elegance and purity, and the petals are as white as a boat. Look carefully, there are many small black spots on the petals!
Its flower core is red with a green flower core in the middle. The red flower core dances around the light green flower core, as if the flower core is the supreme queen and the flower core is its subordinate, protecting it from harm at all times. The flower core is very fragile and falls off when touched.
I remember when I was a child, my mother took me to the flower shop. There are many flowers in it: colorful roses, petite and lovely carnations, and chrysanthemums better than the sun ... beautiful! But when I saw the lily, I knew it was my favorite flower! It is like a noble princess, pure and beautiful. I begged my mother to buy it for me in every way, and finally I persuaded her.
I put the lily on the windowsill, gently brought a little water and sprinkled it on the flowers. The glittering and translucent water drops set off the noble and beautiful lily, which is really the first beauty in the world! I looked at it and slowly appreciated its beauty.
I checked the legend of lily a few days ago and found that there are countless kinds of lilies. The ancient Romans believed that the first lily in the world was made of Hera's milk. In Greek mythology, lilies are dedicated to the sacred goddess; In religious stories, lilies are condensed from the tears of Adam and Eve. In Christian stories, lilies were originally yellow and didn't turn white until the Virgin Mary picked them.
Lily is beautiful, pure and elegant. I will love this lily forever.
Last summer, my grandmother planted a cucumber.
Grandma bought cucumber seeds, planted them in the ground and watered them every day. Grandma said, "Cucumbers are just like people. It sunbathes every day to replenish water. " I listened to my grandmother, which makes sense. A few days later, cucumbers sprouted one after another. The buds are yellow-green, which looks inconspicuous. At this time, grandma is going to fertilize the cucumber again, and I am watching carefully. Ah! Fertilizer stinks, but it's delicious for plants.
After grandma's careful cultivation, cucumber has grown many green leaves, and the green color makes people feel it. A few months later, the cucumber grew up, grandma put up a shelf, and the cucumber crawled slowly like a snake.
A few days later, the cucumber bloomed, the flowers were yellow, and the small flowers were like graceful fairies, swaying their graceful posture in the wind, which was very lovely.
But good flowers don't bloom often, and the good times don't last long, and the flowers soon fade. At this time, the small fruit appeared in our sight again. Grandma planted fruits more carefully this time, for fear that they would not grow up. Gradually, the little fruit grew up under the care of all of us and became a green cucumber. That color is so cute that I can't help reaching out and touching it. I let out a scream. Grandma and mom came over. It turns out that their vegetable fields have been stolen since then. I quickly explained, "It was my hand that was touched by a thorn on the cucumber epidermis."
Grandma and mom had a false alarm. After many days, the cucumber was ripe and grandma picked it and invited us to eat it.
I eat with my mouth open. Cucumber is delicious and crisp. A sweet juice sprayed on my throat. I can't help praising my grandmother. These days, I not only know how to grow cucumbers, but also know the happiness of growing and eating cucumbers myself. I like cucumbers, and I prefer to grow and eat cucumbers.
Diary of Plant Observation Chapter 4 Our human survival depends on water, air and sunshine, as do animals and plants, and plants need soil for their growth. What would it look like if plants grew in the soil?
Let's do an experiment. I do this experiment with two soybeans. I wrapped one soybean in a cup with toilet paper, put the other soybean in a cup with wet soil, and put both cups on the windowsill at the same time. Pour a small amount of water on the paper-wrapped soybeans several times a day. If it is full of soil, leave it alone. Let's observe it in a few days.
A few days later, I found that the soybeans in the watered toilet paper began to sprout. Soybeans that are not watered but have soil can't see the bud mouth. I continued to observe for two days, and the soybeans that were not watered germinated a little, while the soybeans wrapped in toilet paper had tender leaves. In this way, I know that under suitable external conditions, cells divide and embryos develop into plumule and radicle. Constantly absorbing carbon dioxide from the air and water from the outside or the soil can carry out a new round of life process. The vitality of plants is tenacious. They get nutrition from the outside, and then transition to the reproductive stage, flowering, fruiting, maturity, aging and death.
I've learned that some things are not immutable. As long as there are conditions for growth, there is vitality. Plants are like this, so are we humans.
I am idle at home on Friday and Saturday, and I just want to soak some beans. I found peanuts from the kitchen, took a few, took out a bowl with half a bowl of water from the cupboard, and put peanuts in it. Then I watch TV. I'm still worried about watching TV. I'll go and see if it has sprouted later. After about two hours, I found that peanuts rose, bulging like a little fat man, but the buds of peanuts still didn't come out. I was a little impatient and said to my mother, "When will it sprout?" My mother smiled and said to me, "You have to be patient, peanuts won't sprout so quickly." Before going to bed at night, I found that peanuts became bigger. I think the bud will sprout tomorrow.
The next day, I got up and hurried to the kitchen to watch. I found a little white head sticking out from the top of the peanut. The whole peanut is like a little doll wrapped in a red quilt. I changed the water into peanuts as my mother said.
There was also a small "accident" in the middle, which almost made me give up all my efforts. In the afternoon, my cousin came to my house to play. I was writing in the study when I heard my little sister eating. I thought my mother bought snacks, so I went to see what was delicious. Who knew my sister ate the peanuts I soaked? Fortunately, I put more peanuts, and there are still a few left. I flew into a rage, but I couldn't bear to hit her, alas!
On the third day, I found that peanut bud finally came out. Peanut bud is small and tender, and the two leaflets are still together. I jumped for joy.
By observing peanuts, I learned to be patient in everything. You must observe everything carefully to get something.
