How to adjust the rear speed change of mountain bike
The steps for adjusting the transmission of mountain bike are as follows:

1. Shift first and then dial, and adjust the speed change to the minimum. Loosen the set screws H and L with the flywheel plate, and then tighten the lock nut after loosening the lock gear nut.

2. Check whether the guide wheel of the rear dial is on the same plane as the minimum flywheel (if not, adjust the H positioning screw to make it reach a plane), tighten the L positioning screw to make it just touch the rear dial when the shift starts to the maximum flywheel (don't tighten it too tightly, just touch it), and then adjust the rear shift.

3. Adjust the front dial. First, adjust the speed change to the minimum toothed disc, and then tighten the steel wire again (the positioning of the front dial is very important, the front dial should be parallel to the toothed disc, and the gap between the front dial and the maximum toothed disc should be within 3MM).

4. Adjust the rear transmission to the intermediate flywheel. At this time, check whether the chain is in the middle of the front transmission (if not, adjust the inner L screw to reach it). When the controller adjusts the gear to the maximum gear, screw the outer H screw so that it just touches the front transmission. (You can also use the adjusting nut on the rear dial or controller that can adjust the tightness of the wire.
