On April 27th, the National Forestry and Grassland Bureau approved the Master Plan Revision of Chongqing Taohuayuan National Forest Park (2020-2029) (Lin Changfa [2020] No.45).

Chongqing Youyang Taohuayuan National Forest Park, which originated from Tao Yuanming's Peach Blossom Garden, is located in the jungle of Wuling Mountain in the west of Youyang County. Its "harmony between man and nature", the surrounding forest environment and landscape together constitute a green, comfortable and organic forest ecological sightseeing park. In order to better protect the ecology of the park, make more scientific and rational use of park resources, and make it play a better role in ecological education, forest recreation, forest health and cultural cultivation, Youyang County Forestry Bureau has revised the overall plan.

Taohuayuan National Forest Park has a planned total area of 2,734.33 hectares, of which the core landscape area is 55 1.49 hectares, the ecological conservation area is 6 13.06 hectares, the daily tourist volume is 78,849, the maximum number of beds is 500, and the woodland area is not less than 2,299 hectares.

This revision fully studies the resource characteristics and location comparative advantages of Youyang Taohuayuan Forest Park. Based on the influential tourism resources of Taohuayuan, the new development direction of forest tourism such as forest health, go on road trip and health holiday will be integrated.
