Add water to the steamer, and the water depth is about half chopsticks. You can add 3-4 cm less water. To be on the safe side, it's still about half chopsticks. In this way, you won't be afraid of the water boiling dry.

Turn on the stove, put the steamer on it and boil the water first. During boiling water, prepare to adjust the liquid level of the soaked rice, and then steam it on the grate of the steamer.

Look at the liquid level of the soaked rice before steaming. If the water is not too much for rice, just pour some out and let the rice be above 1 cm underwater.
