Advanced cooking techniques in the Central Plains also entered Chaozhou with immigrants, and were combined with local cooking techniques, which laid the foundation for the formation and development of modern Chaozhou.

Please don't confuse Chaozhou with Chaozhou.
Chaozhou culture and Chaoshan culture are the same.
At present, the cultures of three prefecture-level cities are: Jieyang culture, Shantou culture and Chaozhou culture. The cultures of the three cities together are "Chaoshan culture".
Since ancient times, it has a long history and profound cultural heritage. The area under its jurisdiction is vast, and the place with a large population is still the largest. It is the inevitable fate of history that the history is short, the jurisdiction is small and the place with small population is still small.
Chaoshan area was re-established by the State Council in 199 1 year. The three statutory prefecture-level cities that are not subordinate to each other are:
1. Chaozhou has one government and two counties with a total registered population of more than 2 million.
Two. Shantou City has three counties with a total registered population of more than 5 million.
3. Jieyang City has one government and four counties, with a total registered population of more than 7 million.
In the past 30 years, the achievements of the three cities' respective development are obvious to all. I believe that in the next three years, the brilliant achievements of the three cities will be displayed in front of all Cantonese people!
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the eight cities under the jurisdiction of the legal "Chaozhou House" were:
Jieyang, Haiyang, Chaoyang, Kuiyang, Xinyang, Chayang, Raoyang and Yang Lian.
"Chaozhou House" does not have its own area, but only borrows a small piece of land in Haiyang County to build a yamen. After the revocation of Chaozhou House in the late Qing Dynasty, the land of this yamen was returned to Haiyang County. After the disappearance of Haiyang County, Chaoan County took over everything in Haiyang County until 199 1, which was designated by the State Council as a prefecture-level "Chaozhou City" government residence. The county seat of Chaoan County was moved from Anbu Town to 20 13 and changed to Chaoan District.
