It doesn't matter if it expires soon. You can eat as usual. I have worked in pharmacy (my undergraduate course). A big brand like Yangshengtang has a conservative shelf life because of the different storage temperature and humidity, and it will not deteriorate after three months.

By the same token, keeping drugs in a dry and dark place can actually extend the shelf life. It's best to put it in the refrigerator.
