Open configuration

At the beginning of a game of chess, each side has 20 pieces, which are distributed as follows:

The above chess configuration can be expressed in the following words:

1. Wang Jiang or Yu will be placed on the line closest to the player in the middle of the board.

2. Two gold coins will be placed next to the king or General Jade.

Two silver coins will be placed next to General Kim.

There are two Guangxi horses beside General Yin.

5. Two fragrant cars are placed next to Ma Gui.

6. In the second line, put an angle line on the left and a flying car on the right. The next two pieces are Ma Gui.

7. All nine infantry are arranged in the third platoon.

It should be noted that chess has a cede system, and the above arrangement is only applicable without cede.

Other rules

promote

Chess pieces have an upgrade system. All pieces can be upgraded except Wang Jiang (Yujiang), Jinjiang and upgraded pieces.

When an upgradeable chess piece enters, is located in the third row farthest from the player or walks out of the area, the player can choose to upgrade the chess piece. Just flip the chess pieces to complete the upgrade.

Details of the upgrade are as follows:

* Flying car upgraded to Dragon King. In addition to any number of vertical and horizontal steps, it can also be compatible with Wang Jiang's footwork.

* Hang Jiao was upgraded to Dragon Horse. Besides taking any number of steps along the diagonal, it is also compatible with Wang Jiang's footwork.

* After the upgrade, Silver Admiral, Ma Gui, Xiangche and Infantry will all follow the way of Golden Admiral, and will not retain their original mobility.

* After upgrading, silver will be called silver, and the chess pieces will be written in the real body of "gold"

* The upgraded name is Gui, and the chess pieces are written in the running script of "Gold".

* The fragrant car is called fragrant car after upgrading, and the chess pieces are written with the word "gold" in cursive.

* The upgraded infantry is called と Jin (second edition: ととととととととととととととととととととと)

* For the convenience of representation, some players will display "Quan", "Gui" or "Jin" and "Xing" or "Ge".

Yes, I will die.

The general who can capture his opponent alive in the next step is called Wang Shou, that is, the general in chess. If the king cannot escape, this step constitutes a chess game, that is, the chess game will die. The dying player wins the game.

In chess, you are not allowed to be a "long general" (you can be a general repeatedly, but you can't die). The long general must change his tactics and remain the same.

The end of the game

Besides dying, chess can also end in the following situations:

* When one of the players fouls, the player who fouls will be directly judged as losing in the official competition.

* If a chess piece of one side falls in the same position four times after moving, the game will automatically end, regardless of the outcome, which is called "Thousand-day Hand" in Japanese.

* If the kings of both sides are in the promotion area and can't kill each other, the game is over. Both sides need to score points for their own pieces. The scoring method is as follows: Wang doesn't score, five points for angular step and flying car, and one point for other pieces. Upgraded pieces will not get extra points. If only one side scores less than 27 points, the side with less points will be judged negative, otherwise it will be a draw.

If there is a draw in the official competition, both sides need to play again and adjust the order (or even reduce the time limit). Amateur competitions are usually decided.

Fall down while eating.

When an upgraded chess piece is eaten, its upgrade will be cancelled.

The eaten chess pieces may not disappear in the game. Players who eat children can put the pieces they have eaten back on the board and become their own pieces. This is called falling in Japanese.

There are four rules to limit the decline:

1. Just dropped chess cannot be upgraded. You must take one more step in the future.

2. Don't drop the pieces you have eaten in some positions where you can't walk any more. That is, infantry, chariots and horses cannot fall on the farthest line from the player, and horses cannot fall on the penultimate line.

3. Infantry can't fall all the way with infantry (without upgrading).

Infantry can't make an airdrop that can kill the opponent immediately.

Rangzi

In order to give relatively weak players a chance to win, sometimes there will be a situation of giving up. In the case of cession, the transferor must permanently remove some of his pieces at the beginning (that is, he cannot put them on the chessboard in any way).

However, in international competitions, Ran Zi will not give obvious advantages to relatively weak players because of the difference in strength.

Depending on the severity of concessions, the following paragraphs will list some of the more common concessions:

* Remove the left compartment.

* delete the corner line

* Remove the flying car.

* Remove the flying car and the left car.

* Remove the flying car and corner line.

* except for flying cars, curve cars and cars.

* Excluding speed cars, corner lines, cars and Ma Gui.

Other concessions will happen occasionally. Under different chess-playing mechanisms, the relationship between the severity of coders and the level difference of players is not recognized by the general public.
