The flowers are bright red, completely double, and a few flowers are "rose double petals or peony petals" with a diameter of 10 to 12 cm. There are more than 100 petals arranged in a tile-shaped hexagon or wheel-shaped spiral. "Hexagonal red" is also called "Songyang red".

Beautiful trees, plump and straight branches, dark green obovate teeth, slow growth. The diameter of the original "Songyanghong" flowers can reach more than 10 to 12 cm, and most of them are "hexagonal tile-shaped orderly arrangement" and "wheel-shaped spiral orderly arrangement", with more than 8 petals to 10, and each flower has more than 100 petals, completely double petals.
