Why did Huangdi Neijing, the ancestor of ancient Chinese medicine, stand out in modern science at home and abroad for thousands of years?
The ancients often called books with certain rules that must be learned and mastered "classics". "Jing" is authoritative and can stand the test of time and practice. Even after thousands of years, the scholarship and theory in Jing are still radiant, and even modern science less than 200 years old is not proud.

Among the numerous "classics" in ancient China, Huangdi Neijing, as the first medical monograph in China, has been shining brilliantly at home and abroad for thousands of years. It can be described as the pioneer of medicine and preventive health care in the world, and its theory can still stand the test of science.

The ancients called medical skill the skill of Huang Qi, which originated from Huangdi Neijing. Huangdi Neijing is developed in the form of a question and answer between Huangdi and Qi Bo, who have excellent medical skills, and tells the basic theory and treatment knowledge of health care and traditional Chinese medicine through question and answer. Qi Bo was the most famous physician in ancient China. He was good at the theory of medical pulse condition and enjoyed a good reputation in China. Later people called him "the ancestor of traditional Chinese medicine" and "the sage of medicine". Huang Qi is the collective name of Qi Bo and Huangdi, especially Qi Bo, so later generations regard Huang Qi as the representative name of Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. At the same time, the new words of "Huang Qi" combination also have their corresponding meanings. For example, "the skill of Huang Qi" and "the way of Huang Qi" refer to the academic or medical technology and theory of traditional Chinese medicine, including health care diagnosis and treatment; "Qihuangjia" refers to China doctors and Chinese medicine experts; "Qihuangshu" refers to Chinese medicine books in general; "Huang Qi industry" refers to the Chinese medicine industry and so on.

In addition to the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine and therapeutic methods such as decoction, acupuncture and massage, Neijing also pays special attention to health preservation and advocates "treating diseases before they occur". In the first chapter of the book, the Yellow Emperor asked Qi Bo about the way of keeping in good health, and Qi Bo gave a programmatic answer about keeping in good health: "In ancient times, people knew Yin and Yang, combined their skills with each other, and had a moderate diet, so they could not act rashly." Otherwise, people now take wine as their pulp, run amok, get drunk, try to exhaust their essence and dissipate their truth, and don't know how to hold it full, from time to time, fast their hearts, go against the joy of life, and live uncontrollably, so half a century will also fail. "This paragraph about the basic requirements of health, ancient and modern, universally applicable.

The theory that prevention is better than cure is also described in detail in Neijing. Su Wen's "Four Qi Tunes Spirit" said: "Therefore, it is said that saints failed to cure their diseases, failed to cure their diseases, and failed to cure their chaos, which is also called it. Husband's illness became medicine, and chaos became a cure. It is not too late to cross a well and fight for a cone. " This sentence puts forward the idea of "preventing disease" and expounds the importance of "preventing disease". "Prevention of disease" includes two aspects, one is to prevent it before it happens, and the other is to prevent it before it happens. Today, thousands of years later, hospitals are overcrowded, individuals look down on diseases, and the state cannot afford medical insurance. The government began to vigorously develop public health undertakings and advocated the establishment and improvement of a public medical system combining prevention and treatment.

The outline of Healthy China 2030 was officially released. The outline puts the health of the whole people in the strategic position of giving priority to development, and puts forward that people's health should be the center, grass-roots units should be the focus, reform and innovation should be the driving force, prevention should be the mainstay, and prevention and treatment should be combined to realize a major change in the direction of medical development from "treatment-centered" to "health-centered".
