1, preparation of soil
Chinese cabbage is suitable for loose and breathable soil, and can be mixed with peat, perlite, cow dung and fermented organic fertilizer at the ratio of 3:3:3: 1 to improve soil fertility. If garden soil is used, it is best to mix coarse sand, peat and nutrient soil to prevent soil from hardening.
Before planting, base fertilizer should be laid, and chicken manure can be applied to the bottom of the basin or under the soil. The growth cycle of fermented cake fertilizer and small cabbage is short, and no topdressing is needed in the later stage of basal fertilizer application.
2. Sowing method
When the soil is ready, it should be watered permeable, and the seeds of small vegetables can be mixed with fine sand for sowing, so that the seeds can be sown more evenly and avoid crowding after growth. There is no need to cover the soil after sowing. Because the seeds are very small, covering the soil may make it difficult for the seeds to germinate.
3. Post management
After sowing, seeds can be covered with film to keep a certain humidity, which is beneficial to seed germination. Ensuring sufficient light after germination can make small vegetables flourish.
In the later stage, when the seedlings grow to 4-5 leaves, they can be eaten at intervals. Too many leaves will occupy the growth space, and the seedlings can continue to grow after thinning. Be careful not to uproot them every time.
