Tips for children's dental care
Get rid of sb's bad habits

It is necessary to correct some bad habits of children in time, such as spitting and biting your tongue, biting your fingers or pencils, licking your teeth with your tongue, etc. These bad habits will affect the growth of children's teeth, leading to tooth deformation and irregularity.

Eat foods rich in calcium.

Children need a lot of calcium during tooth changing. If calcium is not absorbed enough, it will cause uneven teeth and teeth are prone to dental caries. Therefore, parents must give their children more calcium-rich foods, such as milk, cheese, eggs, bean products, kelp, seaweed, shrimp skin, sesame seeds, marine fish, vegetables and so on. Make new teeth stronger.

Pay attention to oral cleaning

Children should be urged to brush their teeth every day, and it is best to brush them by adults before going to bed at night, especially the upper teeth are difficult to clean, which is most likely to lead to dental caries and affect teething. Choose toothpaste and toothbrush for children, and the toothbrush head should be as small as possible. In addition to brushing teeth, it is best for children to rinse their mouths after eating food to maintain oral hygiene.

Don't breathe through your mouth.

Try to avoid children breathing through their mouths when they sleep, because when the airflow passes through the mouth, the maxilla will not develop normally downward due to upward pressure, which will lead to the maxilla bulging upward, the left and right sides of the upper dental arch narrowing and the front protruding forward. In this way, the erupted front teeth will not only lean forward, but also be disordered, resulting in missing teeth.
