What do you know about how to get along with the pets at home after the baby is born?
If there is time for babies and pets to get along peacefully, it is basically when both of them are asleep. Babies' natural curiosity will make them naughty little guys: pulling the kitten's tail, waking the sleeping puppy and chasing it all over the house. It's unfair to cats and dogs.

Teaching a baby to respect animals is as important as teaching him to respect others. If you don't teach your baby to be kind to animals, it will have a bad influence on the injured animals and the baby himself. Mom and dad can start from these aspects, so that babies and animals can "coexist peacefully".

Let the baby be friends with animals. Exposing your baby to different environments and different animals will make him feel more comfortable with all kinds of animals and be more friendly to those animals that make him feel comfortable. There are relatives of cats, dogs and birds, pet shops, zoos, parks and so on. These places can make babies happy and safe to understand animals.

At the same time, reading is also a good way to learn about different animals. Start with a simple book, and the pictures in the book should be large and easy to distinguish farm animals from poultry, and then it can be extended to a wider range of species.

Take the animals home. Keeping pets at home will increase the baby's love for animals. If you don't have a pet, you can consider adopting one. If the baby is very young, you can keep a goldfish or a turtle, which is easier to take care of than a kitten or a puppy, but less fun.

Ways to educate your baby to love pets. Babies like to treat animals in their own friendly way. What mom and dad have to do is show the baby how to hug and pet animals safely and gently. For example, when treating a cat, show the baby how to tickle the cat and gently touch the cat's head to make the cat feel comfortable.

Tell the baby not to hurt animals. Parents should explain to their babies that animals have feelings, just like people, so they must be careful not to hurt them. It is absolutely forbidden to pull the tail, ears, touch, kick, step on or drag. Some animals forgive people who hurt their bodies, but others don't. For the safety of the baby, such education is very important.

Teach your baby to observe animals gently. Take the baby to the park or the grass in the community, watch squirrels jump on trees, watch ants move things on the ground, and watch butterflies fly from here to there. Let the baby observe all kinds of small animals at close range, but be sure to stop the baby from hurting animals. Tell the baby that animals also have their own homes, and their relatives are waiting for them to return.

Don't let babies tease animals. Waving bones where dogs can't reach and pretending to dump cat food ... these pranks on animals are not only unfriendly, but also potentially dangerous. Explain to the baby, don't disturb the animals' sleep, don't stop them from eating, and don't take away their toys. Animals don't like being treated roughly.
