Mahayana practice mainly includes inner alchemy, outer alchemy and Taoist health preservation. Inner alchemy refers to improving physical function and spirituality by adjusting the organs such as heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney in the body. External alchemy refers to improving physical function and spirituality by taking Dan medicine and external alchemy. Taoist health care refers to the purpose of improving physical function and spirituality through health care techniques and health care exercises.
The practice of Mahayana requires practitioners to have certain spirituality and understanding, and also requires practitioners to pay a lot of time and energy. If the yogi can practice Mahayana persistently, then he/she will have a chance to transcend life and death and become a true master of Tao.
