Five Excellent Reading Experiences and Gains of Tao Te Ching
Laozi is China and one of the earliest philosophers with dialectical thoughts in the world. There has always been a debate about Laozi, his books and his "Tao Theory". The following is my excellent reading experience and harvest of Tao Te Ching for you. You can share it if you like!

Tao Te Ching 1 Excellent Reading Experience and Harvest

China has a long history and profound culture. Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism have been inherited for thousands of years, which can be called the crystallization of Chinese national thought, and the book Tao Te Ching is a concentrated summary of Taoist culture.

Tao Te Ching, also known as Laozi, was written by Laozi when he went out to the customs for a western expedition to Hangu Pass. The whole article has more than 5,000 words, many of which have long been widely known.

Here, I want to emphasize that the more knowledge, the better, nor the deeper the better, but the ability to control knowledge should be matched. To tell the truth, I really dare not comment on Tao Te Ching, but I like reading, copying and reciting. I would like to share some feelings after reading the Tao Te Ching, hoping to encourage you!

"Tao can be Tao, not extraordinary." I believe everyone has heard of this sentence, which is the opening sentence of Tao Te Ching. I don't seem to want to say anything, because the way I can say is not the constant avenue. Yes! Language always seems to be a little stretched when describing many profound things, and Lao Tzu told us from the beginning: don't be limited to words and language. Buddhists have a saying: teach others things, don't stand up, point directly at people's hearts, and see nature become Buddha.

Laozi mentioned "baby" several times in his article, for example: "satirize the world, Changde will never leave, and it belongs to the baby." Laozi told us to learn from babies, but many people are unwilling to learn from people with lower qualifications than themselves. In fact, this is a great waste of resources. Babies have no stereotypes, so they learn everything fastest. The quickest way to learn a foreign language is imitation, which is exactly what babies do; We usually say "empty cup mentality", which is exactly what the baby does.

"The song is complete, the waste is straight, the depression is full, the embarrassment is new, the gain is less, and the confusion is more." Many times, I think the wisdom of Laozi is contrary to the thinking of ordinary people, but it contains profound philosophy after careful tasting. We often say: To be a man, be flexible, and Han Xin did it. Only by lowering yourself every day can you learn something. This is just like the Buddhist saying: you can only have it when you are empty, and you can only endure it when you put it down. Many times, we can't make a choice, because there are too many choices, just like there are too many channels on TV, so that we rarely watch a program completely. Too many choices often confuse people and eventually lead to nothing. Too many times later, we need to have the courage to cross the rubicon like Xiang Yu. In fact, life is like a blink of an eye, and it is often a good thing to choose less.

The benevolent Leshan, the wise happy water. Tao Te Ching mentioned water several times, such as "goodness is like water" and "the world is softer than water, and the strong are invincible". Water is the source of life, which benefits all things and asks for nothing in return. The wisdom of "a drop of water pierces a stone" makes us understand what "weakness overcomes strength" means. Water is invisible, but what shape will it become if you put it in a container, so the invisibility of water is the ultimate shape. In Bruce Lee Jeet Kune Do, "the method can't be won, and the infinite can be won" just leads to the same goal. So Lao Tzu told us to learn the wisdom of water.

The phrase "know yourself and know yourself, and fight every battle" contains endless meanings. Sun Tzu's Art of War says: Know yourself and know yourself, and you will win every battle. People are self-aware, but the fact is: too many people are arrogant or laugh at themselves. Many times, we will find that our role is exactly the person we hate most! Therefore, we should constantly beat ourselves and surpass ourselves every day, just as the Book of Changes says: a gentleman strives for self-improvement. The biggest enemy is ourselves, so the real strong person is the one who overcomes himself.

Reading is full of fun, especially reading Tao Te Ching, a book full of philosophy. The ancients said, "There is Yan Ruyu in the book, and there is a golden room in the book", "Reading is like writing" and "Reading books with the same status is worth millions of masters", but I think reading should be selective, and at the same time, we should be able to think from the author's point of view and learn to put ourselves in the other's shoes. There is also the most important point: the subject of using knowledge is people, because "the soldiers are unpredictable, the water is unpredictable, and the clever calculation is single-minded."

Finally, I want to say that reading is a kind of communication, reading is a kind of enjoyment and reading is a way of life.

Excellent reading experience and harvest of Tao Te Ching II

Laozi's Tao Te Ching is a treasure of the Chinese nation and contains rich philosophy of life. Remember to read Tao Ke Dao, Extraordinary Tao with the teacher at school; The name can be named, and it is very famous. "At that time, I didn't know where it came from, let alone what it meant. After decades, I still can't fully understand this Taoist masterpiece, but at least I have some thoughts and opinions.

Tao Te Ching advocates abstinence and inaction. For thousands of years, from emperors to generals, and then to ordinary people, they have drawn the essence of governing the country and the people, cultivating self-cultivation and establishing people's lives from this collection of human wisdom. Nowadays, with the development of social science and the rapid development of economy, people's material wealth is becoming more and more abundant, while their spiritual wealth is becoming more and more scarce, and the phenomenon of moral decay is becoming more and more serious. I think we should all find our own principles of life from Laozi's Tao Te Ching. Don't go with the flow. Persisting in meditation is the foundation of living. When people's state of mind reaches an empty state, they will always maintain a modest and prudent style, and they will make practical moves, do practical things and seek practical results in society, life and work.

As the old saying goes, it is wise to read history as a mirror. Laozi said in the seventeenth chapter of Tao Te Ching that "Tao always does nothing and does everything". Laozi's inaction thought does not mean that he is passive and does nothing, which is a misunderstanding of Laozi's Tao Te Ching. Laozi's original intention is to teach people to follow the path, not to do anything, but to do something. Only by "not acting rashly" can we make great achievements, that is to say, "not acting rashly" is the guarantee of making achievements. What is "promising"? Playing a good social role, doing a good job and taking on family responsibilities is "doing something." In today's materialistic society, if he can feel at ease with his work, then his mentality must always be in a state of meditation and purity, otherwise he will not be able to restrain his restless heart. In other words, God doesn't think outside, so meditation and purity of mind are the premise and premise of doing all the work wholeheartedly.

Tao Te Ching is concise, full of words, inspiring and thought-provoking, which fully shows Lao Zi's solid writing skills and innovative ability. Coupled with some classic examples, the finishing touch, wonderful pen, far-reaching artistic conception. Take care of the previous article, sublimate the theme, express the author's own feelings incisively and vividly, and give people a feeling of infinite touching and melancholy. It is really the best in the article and the perfect pen in ancient Chinese! Admirable.

The full text of Tao Te Ching should be divided into two parts, the upper part of Tao and the lower part of virtue.

Tao is heaven and the law of nature. Shown in several aspects. One is "Yi", which means change. The first sentence of Tao Te Ching says that "Tao can be Tao, but extraordinary", and the Tao that can be said is not "constant". The second aspect is the law of "Yi". The so-called "Yi" method means that "the Tao says big, big is death, death is far, and far is opposite". The general meaning of this sentence is that everything is growing gradually, but the "strong man is old" will gradually decrease, so it returns to its original state.

If the purpose of Lao Zi's writing The Classic of Moral Education is to explain the moral law, then the Classic of Moral Education is mainly about the way to be a man, that is, how to apply Heaven to personnel. In fact, the focus of Laozi's writing of moral classics falls on the lower moral classics.

After reading the Tao Te Ching, the biggest feeling is that the strings in my heart have been touched. "Forever and ever. The reason why heaven and earth are so long is that they can live forever because they are not born. It puts saints and bodies first; Living outside your body. Not because of its selfless evil? Therefore, it can be private. " It means that heaven and earth can last forever because they don't live for themselves, they exist naturally, so they can last forever. Therefore, the sage put himself behind, but he was respected. He put himself outside, but he saved himself. Isn't it because saints are not selfish? That's why he is himself. But just look at today's society, how many people can turn their backs on themselves? Very few. The rapid expansion of the economic era has caused more people to lose themselves in the face of greed. I have to say that this is a social tragedy, which we don't want to see.

The Tao Te Ching is only 5,000 words, but as long as you read and understand it with your heart, you will find that the truth can be summarized in 5,000 words. Laozi pays attention to people's inaction, which is a state of mind, a cultivation and a dialectic. Promoting inaction to the society is helpful to the stability of the country, but if we stand at the height of historical development, one-sided inaction will not help the progress of mankind. Therefore, if contemporary young people want to understand the ancient theory of inaction, they should treat it dialectically. "Those who are good follow it and those who are not good change it." From the perspective of dealing with people, inaction is tolerance for people. "There are hundreds of rivers in the sea, and the tolerance is great. The wall stands a thousand miles, and there is no desire to be just."

Society is like this, nature is like this, everyone's small family is like this, and so is dealing with people. Isn't it true that we honor the elderly and live in harmony with our brothers and sisters?

Excellent reading experience and harvest of Tao Te Ching III

Laozi's Tao Te Ching contains rich philosophy of life. For thousands of years, from emperors and princes to ordinary people, all have learned the essence of governing the country, cultivating self-cultivation and cultivating people from this wisdom book of human etiquette history.

Nowadays, with the development of social science and the rapid development of social economy, people's material wealth is getting richer and richer, while their spiritual wealth is getting poorer and poorer, and the phenomenon of moral decay is getting more and more serious.

The voice of "being upright and being practical" is getting stronger and stronger. In the materialistic real life, how to deal with the temptation of money, status and beauty? We can also find the answer in the holy book "Tao Te Ching", that is, we should pay attention to keep quiet, quiet and introspect in our daily life, work and family, and do our duty wholeheartedly!

Since we are small, our strength is weak, and our life is short, why not correct our mentality? Meditation, purity and dedication are three different levels of people's mentality. Meditation: Jing 'an's life coordinates; Clean heart: clean life direction; Dedication: Do your best in life.

Meditation is the coordinate of Jing 'an life.

Laozi takes "quietness is the best in the world" and "quietness" as the basis of practice. Chapter 16 of the Tao Te Ching says, "Be empty and be quiet." The emphasis is on keeping quiet. "Causing emptiness" means removing obstacles in the mind, sorting out chaotic mental activities, and then "quietness". Through "quiet" work, we can profoundly accumulate knowledge, and then we can "know what is normal" and turn adversity into luck.

After Laozi, Zhuangzi emphasized selfishness and no desire in order to rest in peace, which is the Taoist thought of keeping in good health.

Only by "meditation" can we "know its male and keep its female", "know its white and keep its black" and "know its glory and keep its shame"; Meditation is not disturbed by fame and fortune, and is not affected by going back and forth; Meditation is the only way to stay poor and endure loneliness.

In short, meditation is the foundation of peace of mind. When people's mentality reaches an empty state, they will continue to be modest and prudent, and they will make practical moves, do practical things and seek practical results in society, life and work.

Clean your heart and your life direction.

"Those who are clean are not polluted", and between heaven and earth, being clean and not polluted means "not polluted". The meaning of "don't dye" is very broad. Chapter 12 of Laozi's Tao Te Ching says: "Five colors make people blind, five tones make people deaf, five flavors make people cool, galloping and hunting make people crazy, and strange goods can hinder people." . It means that the colorful world is dazzling, the sounds are deafening, the food makes people drool, the mind is crazy, and it is nerve-racking to have precious and rare goods. This paper summarizes the serious consequences caused by people's greed, sound, taste, smell, touch and things from six aspects. Therefore, future generations say: six clean, spotless. It is intended to teach people restraint and restrain people's greed.

Let's look at the thirteenth chapter of Laozi's Tao Te Ching: "Being humiliated is shocking." We can see that the root of "great shame" lies in "having a body for me", and the root of "having a body for me" lies in the fact that people's minds can't be as clean, clear and transparent as water, and they attach too much importance to individuals and their fame and fortune. If you are indifferent to the world, you will remain quiet and simple, and you will have less selfish desires. How can you be "if you are in trouble?"

In this way, purifying your mind can make you consciously persist in self-reflection, always check your greedy heart and curb your unwanted thoughts. A pure mind is the source of continuous sober understanding.

Show your life as much as you can.

People often say that reading history can make people wise, reading classics can make people wise, and being wise can make people wise. Laozi said in the seventeenth chapter of Tao Te Ching that "Tao always does nothing". Laozi's inaction does not mean that he is passive and does nothing, which is a misunderstanding of Laozi's Tao Te Ching. Laozi's original intention is to teach people to follow the path, not to do anything, but to do something. Only by "not acting rashly" can we make great achievements, that is to say, "not acting rashly" is the guarantee of making achievements. What is "promising"? It is "promising" to play a leading role in society, do your job well and assume family responsibilities. Yes, in today's world-disputing society, if he can devote himself wholeheartedly to his work, then his mentality must always be in a state of meditation and purity. Without entering a state of meditation and purity, he can't restrain his restless heart. In other words, God doesn't think outside, so meditation and purity of mind are the premise and premise of doing all the work wholeheartedly.

The Chinese nation has always attached importance to the role of moral education and advocated "putting morality first" and "being a teacher by example". All walks of life, villages and households are trying to improve the moral standards of the group. Specifically, it is to transform "meditation, purity and dedication" into "six hearts" education: loyalty to the motherland, love for society, enthusiasm for the masses, concern for colleagues, filial piety to parents and self-confidence. In the modern economic society, rereading and interpreting the classic Tao Te Ching can help people keep quiet and purify their hearts, thus doing their duty wholeheartedly, which is conducive to social stability, work unity and family harmony!

Excellent reading experience and harvest of Tao Te Ching 4

Laozi's "Tao" is actually not as mysterious as many people say. It refers to the causes and laws of changes in the material world and the spiritual world-the laws of nature. The debate about whether Tao is material or spiritual is superficial and belongs to the category of appearance.

The so-called law of nature: it is the operating law of nature, and it is an objective form of movement that is not transferred by human subjective will. People can only know it through practice, use it, but can't change it, otherwise they will be punished by the laws of nature.

For example, birth and death are the natural laws of life. Doctors can only see a doctor, not save lives. If they could cure diseases and save lives, wouldn't all the doctors in the world become immortals? But many people don't understand this or don't want to believe this simple truth. Especially in ancient times, many emperors were superstitious about charlatans and ate some "panacea" in an attempt to live forever. As a result, they died of poisoning, but their lives were wasted.

"Unity of opposites" is the natural law of the existence of things, and it is also one of the viewpoints repeatedly emphasized and proved by Laozi. The so-called unity of opposites is not the unity of opposites of a single thing, nor the simple division of things into two, but countless opposing things are intertwined, interdependent, mutually influenced, changed and transformed, forming a dynamic and colorful world. Guiding the situation and letting nature take its course is the ideological basis of Laozi's "governing by doing nothing".

"extremes meet" is the natural law of things' movement. It is another point that Laozi repeatedly emphasized and proved. The pendulum, you said it was on the left? Right? I don't know the middle one? This is because the pendulum we see is only its position at a certain moment. Things are like pendulums, and people only see how they move in a certain period of time. Because things are restricted by themselves and related factors, they can only run within a certain range, so-extremes meet. Therefore, people mistakenly think that the "golden mean" is the most reasonable, but they don't know that the "golden mean" is only a short-lived phenomenon in a certain period of time during the movement of things. Who, what and what can remain or stay above the "golden mean" forever? Don't! There must be no!

"Unbalanced motion" is the natural law of things' power and the motive force of the universe. As we all know, everything is moving, but why move? I'm afraid few people know why. Modern scientific research has found that matter is infinitely divisible. What we see today is actually a synthesis of countless substances. From an individual to a similar object, and even the whole universe, they are interdependent, mutually restricted, influenced and changed, ranging from the cycle of elements to the operation of celestial bodies, even the flight of birds, the walking of human beings, the driving of cars and so on. And so on: imbalance-balance, then imbalance-imbalance is eternal and lasting, and balance is partial and temporary. This is the case in the material world, isn't it the same in the spiritual world? Looking at the world: from interpersonal relationships to national political situation and even the international situation, there is no exception.

It is a well-known natural law of water that water flows downwards. It is also the movement form of water under normal circumstances. But there are exceptions, such as: water will turn into gas when heated, and it will soar; Another example is that water can be suspended in space, which is because water is out of the gravity of the earth. The above two phenomena cannot be covered by the general law of water. This shows that the laws of nature are conditional. The same thing, when time, space and environment change, the law will also change. This is the law of law.

Laozi said, "Tao can be Tao, but not surprising." "People everywhere, the earth follows the sky, the sky follows the Tao, and the Tao follows nature". Only through one's own senses, one can fully understand and systematically analyze objective things, and then master and use the laws of nature, not violating the laws of nature, taking advantage of the trend and letting nature take its course, is the "right path" in the world.

Excellent reading experience and harvest of Tao Te Ching 5

Tao Te Ching fully embodies the charm of China's ancient naive dialectics, and expounds in a few words the basic thoughts of Taoism on the origin of the universe and the basic mode of existence, the law of the emergence, development and change of things, social outlook and outlook on life. Although most articles are almost poetic and somewhat obscure, it is not an exaggeration to describe them as "extensive and profound".

My understanding of Tao Te Ching is mainly "doing nothing" and "respecting the law".

In the first paragraph, "Tao can be Tao, ten points, name can be named, ten points." In other words, Tao, as the origin of the world, can be described in words, but it is not eternal. "The name can be named, ten." It is said that the name that can be called is not a constant name. "The beginning of the nameless world, the mother of all things." That is to say, when heaven and earth first appeared, there was no name, but when everything gradually appeared, it had its own name (but it was not eternal). "So there is always a desire to see its strangeness, and there is always a desire to see its embarrassment." It means that we often explore its mystery when we have no desire, and sometimes we explore its mud ball. "The two have the same name." In other words, both being and being come from Tao, but with different names. "The same is mysterious" is also profound and subtle, which is difficult to grasp. "Mysterious, mysterious, the gate of Wan Qi." This refers to this mysterious way, which is the door to all mysteries.

This passage, as the opening of Tao Te Ching, elaborated Lao's understanding of law in detail. In Tao Te Ching, Tao refers to dharma. The most fundamental view of Taoist legal thought is that "law is natural, changeable and uncontrollable", and the fundamental attitude towards law is "fully respect the law and then apply it." This is a very simple dialectical thought. It fully embodies the ancient people in China's exploration and thinking of nature, which is not blind, but very planned and scientifically based. It not only has a profound influence on China's traditional cultural thought, but also goes far beyond the scope of China.

I have always believed that everything will go smoothly as long as I stick to the law, but if I break the law, I will be punished naturally. In Chapter 39, he elaborated: "The past is unique". In ancient times, people who acted in accordance with the law, "the sky is high and the clouds are light, the ground is flat, the gods are full, the valley is full, everything is animistic, and the princes are upright." This sentence follows the previous sentence and gives many examples to prove the benefits of respecting the law. God's respect for law can be clear, the earth's respect for law can be flat, the god's respect for law can be flat, the river's respect for law can be full, all natural things can be endless, and Jun Jun can win the world. "Its cause" can be inferred. "When the sky is clear, there will be cracks; If there is no peace in the territory, it will be frightening; God has no spirit and will be afraid of rest; If the valley is not surplus, it will be exhausted; Everything is lifeless and will be destroyed; Marquis is not righteous and must be afraid. " It is said that if the weather is not clear, it may explode, if the earth is not peaceful, it may collapse, if God does not appear, it may disappear, if there is no water, rivers may dry up, everything may perish if it cannot grow, and kings may subvert if they cannot rule the world. "So, you are based on embarrassment, based on high and low." So wealth is based on poverty and inferiority, and nobility is based on inferiority. "Is it because the princes claim to be lonely? Isn't this based on meanness?" This game is an example to illustrate the above sentence, which means that all princes claim to be lonely and widowed. Isn't this based on meanness? Isn't it? "Therefore, the number of surplus is self-evident. The world doesn't want to burn everything. "This is a summary of the above arguments and examples, saying that the highest honor is no honor, so don't ask yourself to be as beautiful as jade and as hard as stone.

It can be seen that Taoism, represented by the elderly, respects the law very much, which was very valuable in China thousands of years ago. Although this dialectics is not perfect, it is very scientific, which is very helpful to our current materialism and lays a very solid and extensive foundation for the further study of materialism. Moreover, from this passage, we can also appreciate the old worship of inaction.

In reality and some literary works, we often see Taoist priests wandering around. They are illusory and arrogant. What we see from them is elegance, and what we feel is that kind of inaction.

The old man said, "No, Shang Xian, let the people do not dispute;" Expensive goods can live, so that the people are not thieves, invisible and desirable, so that the people are not chaotic. It is ruled by saints, hollowing out their hearts, strengthening their bellies, weakening their aspirations and strengthening their bones; Often people are ignorant and have no desire, so that people who know their husbands are afraid to do it. For inaction, no wisdom. " Therefore, the sage's way of governing the country is to make people humble, knowledgeable, weaken people's aspirations, enhance people's physique, and make people lack knowledge and desire. Therefore, it is not wrong for wise people to dare to make trouble and govern the world with a natural and inaction attitude.

The seventh chapter of Tao Te Ching gives an example of inaction. This is who he is.

Inaction is a kind of mentality, a kind of cultivation and dialectical. From the old point of view, advocating inaction to the society is helpful to the stability of the country. However, if we stand at the height of historical development, one-sided inaction will not help the progress of mankind. Therefore, for contemporary young people, to understand the ancient old theory of governing by doing nothing, we should treat it dialectically and treat it in two. "Good people follow it, and bad people change it."

When dealing with competition, we should dare to meet challenges, treat failure and inequality with a normal heart, and change or adapt in an appropriate way, instead of blindly fighting a larger foe. This is conducive to self-preservation and ultimate success, and only accumulation will flourish. Similarly, "inaction" is used to tolerate people in contemporary life. "All rivers run into the sea, with great tolerance, towering walls and materialistic justice."

Tao Te Ching is an enlightening masterpiece of China's simple dialectics in ancient times, which opened the curtain for human beings to explore the laws of nature for thousands of years. It is of great benefit to guide our life to treat it dialectically, take its essence and discard its dross.
