Herbal Dietotherapy is an important monograph on dietotherapy and health preservation written by Meng E, a medical scientist in Tang Dynasty. Meng E was born in the fourth year of Tang Wude (62 1) and died in the first year of Kaiyuan (7 13) at the age of 93. He is from Ruzhou, Henan. This book is the earliest extant monograph on dietotherapy of traditional Chinese medicine in the world.
