Peluzenafo seven-legged sitting
According to legend, there were 500 arhats in ancient India who practiced meditation and could not enter samadhi. The reason is that they were sitting in a sitting position, so someone descended from the sky and handed down this seven-legged sitting method, which is now known as the "Piluzenafo Seven-legged Sitting Method".
The so-called seven-legged sitting method refers to the seven points of sitting posture:
1. biped. (If you can't double disk, use a single disk first. Put your left foot on your right foot and call it wishful sitting. Put your right foot on your left foot, and your name is king kong sit. Wait until your body is soft, and then practice double dishes. )
2. The spine is upright. Let every joint in the back be like an abacus. But if you are weak or sick, you should pay attention to your chest and waist, and you should not use too much force.
3. The palm is up, the back of the right hand is flat in the center of the left hand, and the two thumbs are gently leaned together, easily inward against the lower abdomen. This gesture is called Samadhi Seal (Samadhi = Samadhi, meaning fixed seal).
4. The left and right shoulders are slightly opened to both sides, and then relaxed backwards.
5. Gently push the head up and slightly retract the back of the head. Chin adduction (not bow), just holding the left and right arterial tubes of the neck slightly.
6. The eyelids are relaxed, and they don't deliberately close their eyes, as if they were half open and half closed. Look straight ahead and fix it, then draw your attention back without your eyes.
7. Touch the upper jaw with your tongue.
The novice is actually practicing sitting posture to adapt to the above seven items. For people with poor health, sitting still is a hard job, and it is common to have backache after doing it for a few minutes. Sometimes when you sit for a long time and your body posture is off course and you don't know it, you need someone to help you stare at the reminder.
