Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a full-time general institution of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education, sponsored by the Hunan Provincial Government, jointly managed by the Hunan Provincial Health and Wellness Committee and the Hunan Provincial Education Department, with the Hunan Provincial Health and Wellness Committee as the main body.
The school's predecessor was Zhuzhou Health School, which was founded in 1959. 1987 was transformed into Zhuzhou college of traditional Chinese medicine, 1989 was renamed as Hunan college of traditional Chinese medicine, and 1998 was promoted to provincial key secondary school. In 2004, Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established on the basis of the former Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
As of June 20 19, the school has two campuses, truffle and Yunlong, covering an area of more than 700 mu, with a total construction area of 260,000 square meters and fixed assets of 270 million yuan. There are 7 teaching departments (departments), 16 majors, 390 teaching staff and 65438+ full-time students.
