Ylang Ylang, what's so interesting about Ylang?
There are eight original temples in Yilan: Fire Temple, Niangniang Temple, Guan Yue Temple, God of Wealth Temple, Laoye Temple, Longwang Temple, Mosque and Ciyun Temple. It was destroyed before and after the Cultural Revolution, but the existing temples still attract people to stop and watch. Ancient buildings such as Sanhe Courtyard and Siheyuan in Qing Dynasty are also well preserved. The mosque built in A.D. 1737 is a cultural and historical landscape in Yilan. At that time, Muslim compatriots living in Yilan raised funds to build this chanting shrine for listening to chanting and festival gatherings. At that time, the imperial court was very concerned about the rise and fall of frontier ethnic minorities. Emperor Qianlong specially presented a pair of dragon and phoenix coffins to Yilan Mosque. Zuo, a famous patriotic general in Qing Dynasty and a general in Northeast China, wrote a huge plaque for the mosque "Tiankai Ancient Religion".

Compared with mosques, Ciyun Temple is the most perfect ancient architectural complex among the existing temples in Yilan. This temple was built in 1928 by General Du Li, the anti-Japanese general and commander of Yilan, for his sister Master Qinglian. The temple faces south, and the gate is magnificent. There are bells and drums on the second floor, with the Heavenly King Hall, Mahayana Hall, Sutra Pavilion and Lecture Hall in the middle. The three halls are neatly arranged on a central axis from south to north, forming a balanced, symmetrical and rigorous architectural style. In front of the Heavenly King Hall, the mighty master was majestic and the ancient willow hung low. The bright sunshine shines in the quiet temple, and the brick roads, vigorous pines and cypresses, unique pavilions, antique buildings and soothing and melodious twilight drums and morning bells make Ciyun Temple more and more quiet and mysterious. Every temple fair on April 18 of the lunar calendar, domestic and foreign tourists gather. Temple fairs and economic singing make it a beautiful tourist landscape in the east of Longjiang.

food culture

Yilan's food culture is very famous, including traditional palace dishes, flavor snacks, three cakes (silk cakes, pies and gluten cakes), slate barbecue, and especially the fragrant Yilan game hot pot. It is said that Emperor Qin Hui was exiled here. Although he also brought a chef, the Jin people had orders not to cook without authorization. But the second emperor couldn't get used to the half-baked game cooked by Jin people. Every time I ate it badly, the chef cooked it in a copper pot in the name of heating the food. The delicacies cooked in its copper furnace have become wonderful foods in Yilan from generation to generation.

Yilan people love to wear and pursue fashion, which mainly comes from "Yilan produces beautiful women". According to legend, Qin Hui was taken captive by the Jin people to the head of the State of Wu, bringing with him 3,000 beautiful women. For a time, most of them lived in the folk, and their daughter's home was charming and natural. There are many beautiful women in Yilan, who dare to wear and love to wear, and it is common to advocate fashion clothes.

Yilan native, pure and standard pronunciation, appropriate skills, warm and generous personality and courtesy. You can't deny that it originated from the cultural collision between the North and the South caused by the great migration of the two emperors and their nobles in the palace, and its rich historical and cultural heritage made it famous at home and abroad.

Culture is an immortal productive force. Standing on the ruins of the five kingdoms city, we seem to hear the long-term generosity of the second emperor, Long Tu. Looking for the empty Yuan Ye in Woduoli City, we seem to see the figure of a powerful nation fighting in the south and the north; So many teas, so many falcons, whistling arrows. Once a warm wine singer, Jin Goma Tie, has quietly passed away in the clouds of meteors.
