In China, about 90% of hepatocellular carcinoma is hepatitis B carrier. After early detection and resection, it is not recommended for individuals to use traditional Chinese medicine for conditioning, because any drug enters the body through liver and kidney metabolism, which will increase the burden on liver and kidney, and the liver foundation of liver cancer patients is not good. It is suggested that blood be drawn every three months to check the liver and kidney function, HBVDNA examination 1-2 times a year, ct scanning 1 time a year, and ultrasound reexamination 3-4 times a year. If the liver function is normal, HBVDNA is normal, and there is no recurrence in imaging, it will be reviewed regularly.
At present, there is not enough evidence to prove that postoperative Chinese medicine treatment can prevent recurrence. If HBVDNA is high and there are antiviral indications after operation, antiviral treatment is still helpful. Chinese patent medicines also have drugs approved for the treatment of liver cancer, such as Ganfule and cantharidin. As for the decoction, eat it if you like.
