Group species refers to the old tea tree in the West Lake Longjing production area, which has always been a brand for the West Lake Longjing, making it bright and blind. Mainly concentrated in Xihu District, Hangzhou. Breeding and migration at that time were pure-bred diffusion. This variety can still be seen in the Hangzhou area mentioned in the last chapter, but there are not many left except the West Lake producing area. In fact, strictly speaking, among these groups, we call the old tea tree, which is the essence of West Lake Longjing, or the ancestor! The inheritance of this kind of tea is orderly. The tea bears fruit and trees, and there is no change unless global warming causes genetic mutation. Just kidding.
Longjing 43 was bred from a group of varieties by Tea Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It is said that the farming here has been cut down, and even genetic improvement has been carried out (check with professional scientists). Longjing 43 is characterized by early germination, which is most prominent in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Generally, it germinates in early March and can grow into a bud and a leaf in late March. Buds and leaves are tender in the early stage and easy to fibrosis in the later stage, so they must be picked in time. Compared with the species, the taste of Longjing 43 is not very clear. The difference is that we can drink it in tea before the rain, and the appearance is known locally, but it can't be summarized in a few words. It doesn't seem as brilliant as Sunshine Shines on You, but as a cash crop, it conforms to the fast pace of market economy. This variety has been widely promoted in the whole province and even the whole country, which was mentioned in Shandong and Sichuan just now. Others, take Wuniuzao as an example. Wuniuzao is also an ancient tea variety, which has been lost for hundreds of years and recovered in 1985. Wuniu Morning Tea Yongjia Wuniu Morning Tea is a famous tea newly created in recent years, named after it is mainly produced in Wuniu Town, Yongjia. It is a kind of tea that germinates very early in China and can be picked in early March. The "Wuniu Zaolongjing" processed with it has a flat shape, mellow taste and green color, and is a treasure in tea. The germination period of Wuniu Zaozao is earlier than that of Longjing 43, so to be honest, some Wuniu did come to Hangzhou early to grab the limelight of Longjing in the West Lake, especially in the early Ming Dynasty, when the price of tea was very high. However, when there is not a lot of tea in the West Lake producing area, its type can be passed off as high-end Longjing, but there is a way to identify it, and the leaves are particularly smooth, leaving no tea hairs (tea hairs), which is inevitable for the species composition of West Lake Longjing.
