Shaolin Tagou Martial Arts School is located at the entrance of Shaolin Scenic Area 500 meters east of Songshan Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng City, Henan Province. Liu Baoshan, an old boxer in Tagou Village on the east side of Shaolin Temple, founded a private martial arts school on 1978.

Tagou Martial Arts School won 9 159 medals in important international and domestic martial arts competitions, including 44 14 gold medals, ranking first in the number of medals and gold medals in domestic martial arts schools.
