Yuan Xiugang's younger brother is Jack. Jack is a disciple of Yuan Xiugang, a descendant of Wudang Sanfeng School15th generation. Yuan Xiugang started teaching foreign disciples from 1995, and more than 60 people became apprentices, 40 of whom started martial arts schools. In 2009, the only professional Wushu class for foreign students was opened in China. During his 20-year career, he has taught more than 4,000 foreign students and made positive contributions to the spread of Wudang Wushu.
