Generally speaking, the meat yield of Paoshan pigs is about 75% to 80%. After normal pigs are slaughtered in slaughterhouses, the meat yield is different according to the size of pigs. 100 kg pig meat yield is 75%, and 200 kg pig meat yield is 80%.

Running mountain pig: A pig raised without feeding or building a pen like cattle and sheep, because it can move freely on the hillside except eating, drinking and sleeping, so it is called "running mountain pig".
