What about the 24-year-old lumbar support?
1. From Nan's Diamond Sutra.

Inner touch wonderful bodhisattva

"Fragrance touch" is very important, especially for some hard-working friends here, who are really sitting well but don't want to sit down. Your beginner's leg is numb and sad. People who sit well have enough kung fu, and your legs are so comfortable and happy that you never want to put them down. This is called bodhisattva's inner touch with wonderful joy, and the body is wonderfully exposed to happiness that has never been seen before. Bodhisattva's precepts are not allowed to enter this meditation, because if you persist in this meditation, you will not go to all beings! Everyone wants to enjoy the wonderful music that touches their hearts, and who wants to stand here and give lectures? Therefore, the realm of Bodhisattva is the beautiful music touched by the heart, and touching is the feeling of the body, but a real Buddhist should not live in the realm of touching the beautiful music from the heart, but should live in Ofuse with nothing to do.

"Law" is a field of consciousness, belonging to concept, thought and spirit. If there is still a hole in your heart, then you have already fallen into the dharma. So, throw away everything outside the body and leave consciousness. This is called learning Buddha, that is, giving without stopping the color and fragrance, which is what the Buddha said.

At this time, the Buddha called again: Xu Bodhi! I'm telling you! Look how good this old man is to his disciples. He means children. I'll tell you more below.

If you can completely "forget your body", or give up your feelings with your intelligence, just wait for it to be enriched, it will click like a switch that triggers a motor, suddenly relax and enter a state of mind that is suddenly enlightened and full of vitality. If you usually have a hunchback (trauma or natural perfection is another matter). By that time, he will naturally straighten up, open his chest, breathe smoothly and have a good appetite. But often because of this, the spirit is too strong and it is not easy to fall asleep, while ordinary people have a certain sleep inertia. Instead, it is regarded as a morbid state of insomnia, and the psychology is getting more and more panic, which runs counter to it and is impossible to talk about.

People are full of desire and curiosity. The greatest desire is to seek immortal fruit; The most curious thing is to explore the root of life, transcend the world and master the function of the universe. Therefore, the sum of these two kinds of psychology constitutes the basis of religious academic thought. The establishment of western Buddhist countries and paradise, eastern paradise and Rhoda's fairyland led to the separation of human beings' material desires from reality and promoted the sublimation of spirit.

In addition, there are maverick, unlike religion, purely realistic physical and mental evidence collection, which is a part of China's traditional cultivation of immortals, similar to Indian traditional cultivation yoga and Buddhism's "tantric" method. All this starts from the body and mind of the existing life, exercises the spiritual body, and strives to transcend the bondage of the material world, so as to achieve the eternal existence of the external self, and then open the original mystery of cosmic life. There is no rebellion against the respective beliefs of religious people, and there is no empirical evidence based solely on their beliefs.

But throughout the ages, books and formulas about immortality have been widely circulated, but where are the real immortals? Those who live long are hard to live. It seems that they are all pure lies, and they are not credible. Not only do we have this suspicion now, but also the ancients have long felt the same way. Therefore, Ji Kang, a person in Jin Dynasty, wrote On Health Preservation, arguing that immortals can learn in order to prove the truth in theory.

Ji Kang put forward that the main purpose of immortality is health preservation, which is plain and fair. Don't ask if this Tao has magical power for the time being It is hard to deny its help to the existing health care. But also can supplement China's medical theory and modern psychotherapy, physical therapy and psychotherapy, so it is necessary to carry it forward.

An academic thought, spread for thousands of years, must have its reasons. The ancients were not all stupid and gullible. However, it is not easy for us to understand this point today because of the different methods used by professors in ancient and modern times. Moreover, those who have been immersed in this field all their lives from ancient times to the present, and then delve deeper into it, finally belong to a few maverick people, who are not as effective as ordinary applied academics and can make a living immediately. According to personal experience, this method is very effective for self-treatment that pays attention to physical and mental cultivation. If you want to "rush to see a doctor and cram for the last minute", you can have a rest.

As for exploring the mysteries of the universe and human life, those who wish to surpass it involve the theory of roots and bones. There is a sentence in Zhao Yilun's poem in Qing Dynasty: "I studied English when I was a child, but I didn't learn enough. It is said that it is not easy to get to Laos, and it takes three minutes to work for seven days. " Poetry is a literary road, and its profound attainments can be said to be even more difficult, not to mention changing temperament. How can it be accomplished overnight?

The publication of this book, thanks to years of study or monasticism, is full of doubts and makes me feel at a loss. Based on superficial experience, this paper sweeps away the bad habits of traditional and private giving and receiving, breaks the terminology of intentional secrecy in single crystal Taoist scriptures, and makes a simple report on the preliminary research results. It may be helpful to people who pay attention to health.

It must be explained here that the so-called "preliminary" is not a modest word, but a sincere word. This book can't do its best if it asks for more depth. If time and opportunity permit, we should continue to report from the psychological part, even the comprehensive physical and psychological part.

1973, I lost my reputation in Taipei.

1, immortality is indeed possible.

In my life, many people have asked these questions countless times. A person who has been a doctor for decades, if he doesn't have the arms of a religious family, sometimes he really hates himself for "why he didn't learn spring ploughing at that time" and is too lazy to talk about pathology; At the same time, people who hate medical treatment are stubborn and refuse to cooperate. Although I am not a doctor, I really lack patience to answer these puzzling mental diseases in detail. Sometimes people ask these questions, and I will say, "When will you really see the immortal people in the world?" ? Not to mention others: some people have lived for hundreds of years, and Guang and Xu Shu are still living on Mount Emei and Mount Qingcheng. Absolutely no one dares to invite immortals to meet people in person. Secondly, I want to ask: do you think meditation is monasticism? What is Tao? How to fix it? Why do you still sit still while practicing monasticism? Almost ten people have five pairs of answers, all for "eliminating diseases and prolonging life" and "eliminating disasters and prolonging life". When it comes to meditation and monasticism, most people want to know the methods of meditation and how to get through the second pulse of Ren Du and the eighth pulse of Qi Jing, or the three classics and seven rounds of Tantric Buddhism. However, they all forgot the highest truth-philosophical theoretical basis-of cultivating Buddha and becoming immortal and sitting quietly to get through the second pulse of Ren Du. Because a person practices monasticism for his own immortality, this is an extreme manifestation of human selfishness. If it is Guo Tao who opens the physical pulse, then this Tao is the crystallization of materialism after all. Tao, is it a heart or a thing? Most people refuse to go here for further study.

So, is it impossible for human beings to live forever? Otherwise! Otherwise! To solve this problem, we must first understand two different contents:

(1) The so-called longevity is an extension of "eliminating diseases and prolonging life". A person knows a lot of knowledge necessary for health preservation, so that he can live happily and painlessly when he is alive. In case he dies, he will die happily, without disturbing himself or dragging others down. This is the hardest happiness in life.

(2) The so-called immortality refers not to the eternity of physical life, but to the eternity of spiritual life. But what is the so-called spiritual life here? Its ontology is a primitive life that exists independently outside the mind and things; Its function and phenomenon are the existing state of life consciousness and psychology. As for mental state, what is it? That's another very troublesome and complicated problem, which will be discussed later. In fact, the so-called cultivation since ancient times, even the highest requirement of any religion, is to find this thing and return to this realm. It is only because of the differences in cultural systems and regional languages that its meaning is expressed in various ways.

So, can Tao be completely repaired? Is it really possible to "get rid of illness and prolong life" and "live forever"? As far as I know, I can boldly say that there is a way to fix it, and it is possible to "live forever." But it must be understood that this is, after all, a personal achievement, not a cause that will benefit people after China's entry into WTO. If you ask for all kinds of satisfaction in real life, but at the same time you want to live forever, it is futile for you to ask for it. There is a story in "Talking about Orchid": A famous public official and high official heard that there was a monk who lived for more than 200 years and was still very young, so he asked him for the tips of monasticism. The Taoist said, "I have never been close to a woman in my life." Hearing this, the giant said, "What's the point? Why should I practice Buddhism? " In fact, in addition to the relationship between men and women, some desires in real life are better than those between men and women, and there are more and more. At the same time, we should understand that "longevity" is the greatest desire in life, and of course it is also the biggest reason to hinder monasticism. In this world, if a person wants to learn a certain specialty, he must give up other aspects of development, not to mention reaching a realm beyond ordinary people. Taoist Yin Fu Jing says, "Never benefit from one source, but use ten times as many teachers." If you have no desire for beauty, it is absolutely impossible to achieve a beautiful and carefree way. At least, that's what I know, but beyond that, I don't know.

2, the method of meditation

As for the question of how many ways to sit still, as far as I know, there is only one-sitting still. If you want to say how many sitting postures are there? Then, there are about 96 kinds. However, the general purpose of all methods is to seek "quietness". So "quietness" is the Tao? Otherwise, why do you have to ask for "silence"? These are two issues and two different concepts, including three main points, which cannot be confused.

(1) Static and dynamic are two opposite nouns. Generally speaking, the concepts of these two opposing nouns represent two opposing states in natural physical phenomena. In short, they refer to two states of life: activity and stillness, action and rest. Tao is not static, dynamic and static, which are all functions of Tao. Tao is moving and static, which can also be said to be moving. Therefore, it is very problematic to think that "quietness" is Tao.

(2) Seeking "quietness" is an inevitable method of maintaining health and cultivating monasticism, which can also be said to be a basic method. In terms of health preservation (including the requirement of health and longevity-immortality), the source of all life functions grows from "quietness", which is a natural function. In nature, the growth of any animal, plant or mineral enriches its life function from "quietness". Especially the seeds of plants, such as flowers, millet and wheat. -all grow in static state and wither in dynamic state. A person's life is often equated with activities, that is, rest. Sleep is an inertial gesture that people need to rest, and the endless kinetic energy of life is also renewed by adequate rest.

Therefore, Lao Tzu said, "Everything in the world belongs to its origin. In the final analysis, silence is life. " "Quiet is calm." As well as the Taoist "Jing Jing" and other truths that came out later, even Ceng Zi wrote "University", "Zhi Zhi is determined later, quiet later, quiet later, secure later, worry later, and get later." And so on, are the results of observing nature and imitating the laws of nature. Even the meditation of Buddhism (China's later Buddhism, translated as meditation) is no exception.

(3) In terms of mental state, quietness is a hotbed for cultivating innate "wisdom". Human knowledge comes from the instinct of acquired life, using intelligence and brain. "Wisdom" comes from the inspiration of "quietness". Therefore, Buddhism's study of precept, determination and wisdom is also centered on meditation, thus achieving the achievement of "Prajna" wisdom.

So, what methods are used to seek "quietness"? This is a ridiculous question, people ask it so easily. "Quiet" means "quiet". If you try to seek "quietness" with your heart and add methods to it, isn't it more and more turbulent? If you are in meditation, you can simply answer: "Your heart is in trouble, you should have a rest." From this point of view, "seeking quietness" is simply wrong, or "no need to seek quietness"! This may not be the case. There is no need to be too arrogant, but modestly speaking, the psychological and physiological state of ordinary people is often used to dynamics; In psychological aspects, such as consciousness, thought, perception, emotion, etc. It is like a waterfall with many heads, a surging river. There is really a trend of "the Yangtze River is rolling in"; Physiologically, the passage of blood, the feeling of nerves and the operation of breath will always have a bittersweet feeling, especially when sitting quietly. If the body has hidden the root of the disease, it may feel sour, painful, cold, hot and itchy, which is even stronger than when it is not quiet. "The tree wants to be quiet, but the wind will not stop." If the heart wants to be quiet, the more turmoil it is. Therefore, ordinary beginners who can't sit still often feel that their thinking and camp are chaotic, and even more agitated than when they don't sit; Therefore, they are even more afraid that they should not "sit still and wait for death", or add legends such as martial arts novels and folk myths. I am afraid that "sitting still and waiting for death" will be "possessed". In fact, this is all unknown. I put my head on my head, making mistakes and misunderstanding, which constitutes a psychological shadow.

3. The state of mind and body in meditation

In order to understand the psychological and physical problems in Meditation, we should first start with psychology. Man, why do you want to do nothing? Of course, there are many reasons for this. It is too general to say "my bald head will return to Buddha all my life" or "I want to leave this world". To sum up, as mentioned above, there is always a purpose for "self-cultivation", "health preservation" and "mind cultivation".

Who produced this purpose? Of course it will say, "it's me." So, what kind of motivation is "I"? It must be said that "it is the heart"-the so-called heart here includes some nouns such as brain, consciousness and thought of modern concepts. Well, since my "mind" wants to "sit still", or "sit still" first, why can't my mind calm down when I feel "sit still"? I don't know my mind and thoughts. I am used to thinking from birth to death, from morning till night. It's like a never-ending waterfall. It's just a habit to exist with life, and I don't think there are so many ideological similarities. Once it's time to "sit still", I will find that my mind is too chaotic in a quiet and introverted situation.

In fact, this is the first step of "sitting". For example, like a cup of turbid water, there is no dust at all when it is turbid. If you put this glass of water there safely and quietly and add a little clarifier, you will soon find that the dust and dregs in the glass have settled down. It is not because this glass of water is in a quiet state that there is dust. Because it is still being discovered. Another example is a house. Generally, dust is invisible. When the sun suddenly passed through the gap, it was discovered that there was dust flying around in the light gap. You should neither clean it nor remove it in some way. As long as you don't shake, increase or decrease, and slowly stop flying, you will naturally stop flying.

But the most likely problem here is that when a quiet situation comes, you will often want to sleep, or unconsciously, you will enter a state of sleep. What should we do in this situation? At this time, you should carefully examine and understand yourself. If it comes from physical and mental fatigue or mental fatigue, you might as well simply let yourself go to sleep, and then "sit still" when you have enough sleep. If you find that your body and mind are not tired, you'd better get up and do some exercise, or especially lift your spirits to keep yourself in a moderately stable state of rest.

4. What is the best introductory reference book for meditation?

Decades ago, people who wanted to learn "sit-in" did not dare to learn "sit-in" without the guidance of a master (not a famous teacher). When there was really no master, they learned a little by relying on the "Dan Jing" in Taoist books (the book of practicing inner alchemy and becoming immortal). Books after 1924 are Zhang Sanfeng's Secrets of Taiji alchemy, The Meditation Method of the Son of Cause, The Meditation Method of Okada, The Secret of Qigong, etc. With the enlightenment of the times, the popularization of education and the development of printing, Chinese characters returned from Japan can be seen everywhere. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Buddhist Tiantai Sect's books on meditation, such as Six Wonderful Doors of Little Zen, Maha (Great) Zen and Yuan Lefan's Zen Method, became popular and widely circulated. At the same time, Tantric practice classics translated from Tibetan into Chinese, or Tantric classics translated from English and French, have also been made public. Among them, the printed version of Xiuzhi and Guan Xiu written by Master Zong Kaba, the founder of Tantric Yellow Sect, is the same as Tiantai Sect, which is more stable and reliable. However, books about Buddhist meditation must be integrated with all the teachings of Buddhism in order to correspond.

5, because this is the pros and cons of meditation.

Among these books, if you want to say any book, it can be the most correct introductory guide, which is really inappropriate. However, the academic theories of Buddhism and Taoism, the two orthodox classics, are not simple. As for unorthodox books, there are too many problems. When there is no book to follow, it is Jiang Weiqiao's meditation method, which is deeply loved by people. How many people learn to sit still, and how many people want to be like him. In fact, the method of sitting for children can only be said to be Mr. Jiang Weiqiao's own experience in learning "sitting", and it can also be said to be a record of his reaction to learning "sitting", which can help your reference, but it is by no means a golden rule, let alone a difficult one. First of all, we should understand that when Mr. Jiang began to learn "sit-in", he was already suffering from severe lung disease, and his mood was relatively peaceful when he was sick. Although the mood is close to negative, sometimes the mind is clear. "If you are sick, you will know the pain, and if you are healthy, you will know the chaos." This is human nature. Because he has lung disease, he must practice silently. When the physiological function resumes instinctive activity, it is equivalent to Qi-moving or Qi-moving as mentioned in Taoism and Buddhism, and it will take effect, following the popularity of Chinese medicine the twelve meridians, so when Qi-moving reaches a certain place, it will naturally produce some feelings. In this case, as long as it doesn't encourage the symptoms and let it spread naturally, it is the best physiological therapy, which is effective for any disease, not to mention the lung disease that must be treated in rest. In a word, the fundamental method of treating diseases by traditional Chinese and western medicine is to rest. All Chinese and western medicines only help to treat diseases, not absolutely eliminate them. Only three or four out of ten patients recover from the disease and get medical help, but six or seven out of ten patients are important because the rest are in bed. Even the medical principle of using surgery is no different from this case. In addition, psychological and spiritual treatment is nothing more than that.

Knowing these truths, we can know the state of qi and qi popularity mentioned in Sitting Method, which is only the phenomenon and experience of the author Mr. Jiang Weiqiao after he learned to sit method when he was ill. We should not generalize that everyone will do this and regard it as a rigid rule. If you don't understand this truth, it is not worth the loss to experiment with "sitting for children" and regard it as a course to learn from others.

6. What is the Qi of the human body?

Ancient medicine in the East is the ancestor of witchcraft, and medicine in China is no exception. Three thousand years ago, China's medical research shifted from witch doctors to Daoism (also known as Ji Fang), which was between Zhou and Qin Dynasties. China's medicine and Taoist magic, as well as Indian yoga handed down from ancient times, all admit that the source of personal life lies in the storage of infinite vitality hidden inside the human body. The word "qi" in the ancient Taoist Dan Jing is based on the original word "[supreme and downward]". For example, "(Wu)" is derived from the ancient word "Wu" by word division, and the following four points are the loan of the word "fire". In other words, "no fire" means "[no fire on the top]". What is "fire"? Lust, lust and restless thoughts are all fire. Without these manic fires (equal to the fires in Chinese medicine books). When the vitality is great (the fire is in the right position), it can gradually trigger the vitality of the inherent life. The popularization of Qi-moving machine follows 12 o'clock day and night (China's ancient timing method is related to the running law of the universe's sun and moon), and it runs around the human pulse (the twelve meridians) and viscera. And at every moment, through different parts of qi pulse, the theory of human acupoints has been developed and developed into acupuncture.

In addition to the so-called the twelve meridians in medicine, there is another pulse that does not belong to the twelve meridians, that is, the "eight strange meridians" that Taoism pays special attention to. The strange word "strange classics" is not strange, but the meaning of "single subject"; In other words, it has a special and separate meaning. The eight veins in the odd meridian include eight vein glands, such as Du, Ren, Chong, Dai, Yang Wei, Yang Qiao and Mai. Du meridian, which is referred to by Zhuangzi in his article "Knowing Cows by Skillful Hands", is roughly equivalent to the spinal cord nerve of the central nervous system in modern medicine. Ren meridian is equivalent to the relationship between autonomic nervous system and viscera in modern medicine. Vein is equivalent to the renal nervous system of modern medicine. Yang dimension and Yin dimension are closely related to the nervous system such as brain, cerebellum and diencephalon in modern medicine. Yangqiao and Yinqiao are equivalent to the reproductive nerves of modern medicine, including the main nerve functions of prostate, hands and feet. It's hard to say that there is only pulse force. At best, there is no fixed position and system range between the central nervous system and the autonomic nervous system. It starts from the small nerve plexus between reproductive function and testis, passes through the stomach and heart and reaches the diencephalon.

Only those who get through the qi can truly understand the condition of the qi pulse and then believe that it really happened. But what needs to be declared in particular is that as a non-professional medical student, the terms quoted by Chinese and Western medicine are only research experience, which is forcibly explained by others and cannot be rigidly adhered to.

In addition, from the inheritance of ancient Indian yoga, after washing and sorting by Buddhists, it has become a practice method of tantric Buddhism, and it also pays great attention to the qi and veins of the human body, with three veins and four rounds (especially seven rounds) as the main system. The three veins, that is, the left, right and middle veins on the plane of human body, are different from the pre-(Ren), post-(Du) and middle (Chong) veins of Taoism. The fourth and seventh chakras are the main parts of the human transverse plexus, which have different concepts from the Taoist "upper, middle and lower abdomen", but their functions are similar.

7. What are Tian Dan and chakra?

When it comes to pneumoperitoneum, people who study western medicine and physiological anatomy will be treated as jokes, thinking that there is no pneumoperitoneum in the human body. This is ignorance and superstition, or Taoist people pretend to be mysterious. I don't mind talking about three pulses and seven rounds of yoga, because yoga is very popular in Europe and America in recent years, and it is also very popular to study yoga abroad and come back to teach. Because it is imported, it is learned from other countries. It must be good. Our poor generation! "No foreign language is not learning, only having a foreign language is respected." It must be a sad joke to leave a page in the history of China's cultural development. In fact, the so-called physiology in modern times can only be called human anatomy strictly. Otherwise, it can be called death science! Because the modern physiology of the human body is proved by autopsy after death, unlike the evidence obtained from the living in ancient China. Three Dantian mentioned by Taoism: going to Dantian and passing through the diencephalon between the eyebrows; Zhongwantian, between the two breasts, crosses the lung heart, goes down to Dantian, and crosses the kidney and large intestine under the umbilicus. Another so-called uterus is the part between the stomach cavity and the diaphragm. These phenomena and functions are related to the respiratory system when human life is alive. Dantian is just a synonym for Taoist cultivation concept, not a real pill. If it is, it will become cancer such as intestinal cancer, heart and lung, or liver tumor. I hope that friends who study Taoism will not be superstitious about the misunderstanding that Inner Dan will really become particles.

The chakras mentioned in yoga, after the baptism of western science and culture, are generally regarded by yogis as physiological nerve plexus, named from diencephalon to perineum. It is hard to say whether the chakra is a nerve plexus; In fact, chakras are closely related to nerve plexus.

8. Meditation and Qi pulse

In the process of meditation, people's psychological distractions are quieter and there are fewer thoughts in their minds, so the blood circulation is slower and the burden on the heart is reduced. At the same time, due to the correct posture of the body, no longer exercise consumes physical strength, the endocrine distribution of the pituitary gland is uniform, and gradually the limbs and the interior are full of feelings. After this feeling occurs, the most sensitive reactions are the central nervous system and the end of the back bone, plus the kidney, which usually has swelling stimulation. This gradually advances, following the popularity of qi and blood, and if you squirm, you will feel it one by one. But the phenomenon mentioned above is based on the relatively formal initial situation of ordinary people in "sitting". If you have special physical conditions, if you have some kind of disease or constitution, that is another matter. In short, everyone's body and mind are different, and there are too many differences to generalize. If we insist on the same thing, it's really like "carving a boat for a sword", which is getting worse and worse!

To discuss the issue of qi pulse in detail, you can't do it in a few words, so I'll leave it to you later. The main idea I want to talk about now is to continue the problem of "sit-in" in front. we think ...........
