Volleyball is in China

[Edit this paragraph]

When was volleyball introduced to China? There is no way to textual research in official historical documents. However, according to some fragmentary data, volleyball was first introduced to the mainland through the coastal areas of South China and Hong Kong around the end of Qing Dynasty 1905. At that time, Guangdong, Fujian and other coastal provinces in South China were areas where volleyball flourished in China. Volleyball was also a leisure activity for many fishermen at that time.

As early as the Republic of China, volleyball has been widely carried out in China, but the most mainstream volleyball at that time was 9-a-side volleyball.

In 1950s, shortly after the founding of New China, the volleyball powers at that time were the Soviet Union and other Eastern European countries. However, in China, where international competitions are dominated by 6-a-side volleyball and 9-a-side volleyball is the mainstream, it is necessary to learn the rules, strategies and competition methods of 6-a-side volleyball again. All-China Sports Federation actively arranges male and female volleyball players to participate in volleyball competitions in Eastern Europe and other places to accumulate experience. After a series of friendly matches, male and female volleyball players in China began to master the method of six-a-side volleyball.

1953, China Volleyball Association was formally established, with Mr. Zhang Zhihuai as the chairman, and 1954 became a full member of FIVB. Subsequently, China Volleyball Association (hereinafter referred to as China Volleyball Association) was invited to participate in the World Volleyball Championship (3 males and 2 females) held in France in 1956.

Early development history

[Edit this paragraph]

Shortly after the founding of New China, 1956 sent a women's team to participate in the 2nd World Women's Volleyball Championship held in France. In this competition, China women's volleyball team defeated Austria, the Netherlands and the Federal Republic of Germany successively and won the sixth place.

Because Asians are generally inferior to Europeans and Americans in size and strength, the strategy of China women's volleyball team is fast, and it has achieved good results in the 2nd World Women's Volleyball Championship with the strategy of "crossing back and forth" and "covering fast and slow".

In the late 1950s, China men's volleyball players developed techniques such as "hook serve vigorously" and "overhand float", and then China women's volleyball players began to use these techniques in the National Games and the China Volleyball League.

In 1960s, a new force of Asian women's volleyball team was challenging the dominance of Soviet women's volleyball team. This force is the Japanese women's volleyball team known as the "Oriental Witch". Under the leadership of Osamu Bowen, "Oriental Witch" won the runner-up in the 3rd World Women's Volleyball Championship with 1960, only to be defeated by the defending Soviet women's volleyball team, but lost in the 4th World Women's Volleyball Championship two years later and the final of Tokyo Olympic Games four years later. The success of "Oriental Witch" also attracted the attention of China volleyball team, so with the approval of Premier Zhou Enlai, China Volleyball Association invited Da Song Bowen to come to China for one month on April 1965 to help train China women's volleyball team, which made China women's volleyball team get systematic training and clear development policy.

Although men's and women's volleyball became the official event of Tokyo Olympic Games on 1964, China women's volleyball team missed the Olympic women's volleyball competition because People's Republic of China (PRC) has not resumed the membership of the International Olympic Committee.

1974, China Women's Volleyball Team won the 7th World Women's Volleyball Championship 14. On 1976, the new China National Women's Volleyball Team was formally established, and Yuan Weimin became the head coach of China Women's Volleyball Team.

The reorganized national women's volleyball team of China participated in the second World Cup in 1977, the 8th World Women's Volleyball Championship in 1978 and the Asian Games in Bangkok. China women's volleyball team won the fourth, sixth and second place respectively, which not only did not discourage China women's volleyball team, but enhanced their confidence in becoming Asian champions.

China women's volleyball team finally made a breakthrough in the 1979 Asian women's volleyball championship. In the final, she defeated the then Asian and former world champion Japanese women's volleyball team with 3 sets 1 and dominated Asia for the first time.

As the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games was boycotted by western countries, and the China women's volleyball team, which could have participated in the Olympic Games, lost a chance to participate. So 198 1 The Third World Cup just provided an opportunity for eight women's volleyball teams in the world to learn from each other. At that time, besides China, there were Japanese, Soviet Union, American and so on. It is also the most popular.

Take-off in the 1980s

[Edit this paragraph]

Three-time champion

China women's volleyball team began to take off under the leadership of Yuan Weimin in 1980s.

198 1 year, the third world cup was held in Japan. After seven rounds of 28 matches, China women's volleyball team defeated the defending host country, Japan, and won the championship, becoming the first world champion in three major events (football, basketball and volleyball) in China. Yuan Weimin, Sun Jinfang and Lang Ping were awarded the best coach, the best setter and the best player. In this game, the most classic game is that the Soviet women's volleyball team won with a score of 3-0 (the score is 15-4, 16- 14, 15-0), but the opponent didn't score a point in the last game, which happened to be/kloc-.

1982, China women's volleyball team participated in the 9th World Volleyball Championship held in Peru. 0-3 sets of preliminaries lost to the United States, and even fell into a qualifying crisis. Head coach Yuan Weimin decisively replaced young players Liang Yan and Zheng Meizhu with Zhou Xiaolan and Chen Zhaodi. As a result, China women's volleyball team defeated Cuba 3-0 and won the key battle to turn the tide. China women's volleyball team won the semi-final seats after beating Hungarian, Cuban, Soviet and Australian teams in straight sets. In the semi-final, China women's volleyball team defeated the former Japanese team 3-0 in straight sets, while the rival team USA was unexpectedly eliminated by the host team Peru. In the end, China women's volleyball team defeated Peru in straight sets in the final and won the world women's volleyball championship for the first time.

Although China women's volleyball team lost to the Japanese in the final of the Asian Championship on 1983, it is still the favourite to win the championship in the Los Angeles Olympic Games. 1984, China women's volleyball team participated in the Los Angeles Olympic Games held in Los Angeles. Although China's women's volleyball team was defeated by the old enemy American team in the group stage, it became more and more brave. In the end, China won the gold medal for the first time and won the women's volleyball championship three times in a row in the final.

Five consecutive championships

In the following two years, China women's volleyball team won the 4th World Cup with 1985 and the 10 World Women's Volleyball Championship with 1986, achieving the first five consecutive championships in the world women's volleyball history.

China was in a state of great need in the early period of 65438+1980s. The women's volleyball team won three consecutive championships and five consecutive championships with its fighting spirit. China women's volleyball team became the model and pride of Chinese people at that time, and it was also the symbol of China's soaring in 1980s.

The decline of the 1990s

[Edit this paragraph]

1986 After winning the 10 World Women's Volleyball Championship in Czechoslovakia, China women's volleyball team began to decline. Lang Ping and Liang Yan, the famous players of the earlier generation, have already retired one after another. They lost to the Soviet women's volleyball team with 1988 in the semi-final of Seoul Olympic Games, and finally only won the bronze medal. China women's volleyball team failed to defend its title in 1989 5th World Cup and 1 1 990th World Women's Volleyball Championship, and lost to Cuba and the Soviet Union in the final respectively, and won the runner-up.

At the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, Wu Dan's banned drugs made the China women's volleyball team led by Jin Hu only get the seventh place.

1994, the ranking of 12 World Women's Volleyball Championship held in Brazil fell to the eighth place, and even lost to the old enemy Japanese women's volleyball team in the competition for the eighth place. At the Hiroshima Asian Games, the China women's volleyball team fell into a low tide after losing to the Korean women's volleyball team in the final.

1995, the famous Lang Ping was hired by China Volleyball Association as the head coach of China women's volleyball team. She led the China women's volleyball team out of the historical trough and won the silver medal in the Atlanta Olympic Games and the runner-up in the 13 World Women's Volleyball Championship. But she failed to lead the team to win the world championship again, so she announced her resignation on 1998.

In 1990s, there were many excellent players in China women's volleyball team, such as He Wu, Xu Xin, Sun Yue He and Qiu Aihua. However, during the period of 1990-98, they were the runners-up of the three major women's volleyball teams in the four world championships (World Cup, World Women's Volleyball Championships and Olympic Games). At that time, the Cuban women's volleyball team created a super dynasty with eight consecutive championships.

Millennium zhongxing

[Edit this paragraph]

In 2000, under the leadership of coach Jin Hu, China women's volleyball team stopped at the quarter-finals in Sydney Olympic Games. After the defeat of China women's volleyball team, China Women's Volleyball Association appointed Mr. Chen Zhonghe, who has been a sparring partner in China women's volleyball team for more than ten years, as the head coach.

200 1, Chen Zhonghe is determined to reuse new players. In addition to eliminating the previous generation of famous women's volleyball players, she also promoted many potential newcomers, such as Liu Yanan, Feng Kun, Zhou and Hao Yang. As a result, China women's volleyball team won the Japanese World Cup under the leadership of coach Chen Zhonghe, which is the world-class official champion of China women's volleyball team for more than ten years. However, because the World Grand Champions Cup is an intercontinental cup, its traditional position is difficult to compare with the three world champion events of women's volleyball, so it has not caused much repercussions in China.

In addition, China women's volleyball team entered the finals in the last week of 200 1 and 2002 World Women's Volleyball Grand Prix, and lost to the United States and the Russian team respectively, and missed the championship.

In 2002, in the 14 World Women's Volleyball Championship held in Germany, China women's volleyball team lost to Greek women's volleyball team and Korean women's volleyball team in two rounds of group matches in order to avoid the two old enemies. In the end, although China women's volleyball team achieved the expected top four results before the game, it was criticized by domestic (dissatisfied audience) and foreign (Brazilian and Dutch women's volleyball teams), and coach Chen Zhonghe was once under pressure to step down. However, at the Busan Asian Games held in 10 days later, the China women's volleyball team won the championship again, and Chen Zhonghe's coaching position was ensured.

2003 World Cup

[Edit this paragraph]

2003 was a bumper year for China women's volleyball team, and it won many international championships, such as Swiss women's volleyball classic, world women's volleyball grand prix and Asian women's volleyball championship. At one time, China people expected China women's volleyball team to win the world championship again. Finally, at the 9th World Cup held in Japan in1/month, the China women's volleyball team won the championship with a total victory of 1 1 game, which is an itch of 17 years. The upsurge of women's volleyball in 1980s reappeared in China, and the word "women's volleyball spirit" was mentioned again. China Women's Volleyball Team also won the Best Sports Team Award in China. CCTV also produced a special program in 17 to celebrate China's women's volleyball team winning the world championship again.

Athens Olympic Games

[Edit this paragraph]

At the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, Chinese people expected China women's volleyball team to regain the Olympic gold medal it had lost for 20 years. In fact, the pre-match state of China women's volleyball team is not as sophisticated and brave as it was in 2003. Zhao Ruirui, the hero who won the 2003 World Cup for China women's volleyball team with a height of1.97m, was absent for half a year because he was injured in a training session. China women's volleyball team also failed to defend its title in the World Women's Volleyball Grand Prix earlier.

Before the Olympic Women's Volleyball Competition, coach Chen Zhonghe also said that the strength of the world women's volleyball team is very close, and he dare not say that China women's volleyball team can win the championship. Shortly after the end of the first set of 65,438+0-65,438+0 in the American women's volleyball competition, Zhao withdrew from the competition due to a right foot injury, which cast a shadow over China's women's volleyball championship.

However, China women's volleyball team became more and more brave in the subsequent games, and finally reached the Olympic women's volleyball final. The opponent is the Russian women's volleyball team that failed to participate in the 2003 World Cup. China women's volleyball team once fell behind in the first two sets, but unexpectedly reversed in the end, winning the opponent's set 3-2 (28-30, 25-27, 25-20, 25-23, 15-65438).

Beijing Olympic Games

[Edit this paragraph]

Hao Yang (No.3), Wang (1), Li Juan (1 1), Zhang (No.8), Hui Ruoqi (19) and Zhao (14) are the specific teams for the Beijing Olympic Games. Five deputy attackers: Zhao (No.9), Xue Ming (10), Ma (17), Xu Yunli (No.6) and Sabrina (13); Three setters: Feng Kun (No.2), Song Nina (12) and Wei (No.5); 3 rescuers: Zhou (No.7), Liu Yanan (No.4) and Li Shan (18); Two free men: Zhang Xian (No.15) and Zhang Na (No.16). Among them, Zhang, Song Nina, Sabrina, Li Shan and Li Shan will not participate in the training for the time being. The exhaust pipe center requires them to stay in the state at any time and stand by.

The 12 players participating in the Beijing Olympic Games are: setters: Feng Kun (No.2) and Wei (No.5); Main attack: Hao Yang (No.3), Wang (1) and Li Juan (1 1); Auxiliary attacks: Zhao (No.9), Xue Ming (10), Ma (17) and Xu Yunli (No.6); Answer: Zhou (seventh place) and Liu Yanan (fourth place); Freeman: Zhang Na (No.16).

Schedule and score of China Women's Volleyball Group Match in Beijing Olympic Games

August 9th, 2008 (6th) 20: 00 China vs Venezuela 3:0.

August 200811(1) 20: 00 China vs Poland 3: 1.

The score between China and Cuba is 2-3.

China vs. USA 2:3.

August 17, 2008 (Sunday) 20: 00 China vs. Japan 3:0.

August 2008 19 (2) 20:00 China vs Russian 3:0.

In order to avoid the bottom of the group, on the evening of August 17, 2008, China women's volleyball team had to fight to the death with the Japanese team. If the last champion was embarrassed, it was all because he lost to the US team in the final battle. The US team was coached by former China women's volleyball coach Lang Ping, so Lang Ping was criticized again, and chess saint Nie Weiping even publicly said that she was unpatriotic.

It is not unreasonable for Lao Nie and others to be extreme, because the confrontation between China and the United States a few days ago did not smell like a "war of peace" at all, and because of China's hope of winning the championship, we can only hope on the women's volleyball team. Last night's battle, China women's volleyball team failed to recover from the previous shadow. Defeated by opponent 12-3 from the beginning. Fortunately, it was able to hold its ground in time and finally resolved the crisis.

Whether Lang Ping should coach the US team is a very old topic. It was only at that time that the American team was still immature and the contradictions were not prominent. In fact, Lang Ping's explanation is passable and accepted by the public: she regards her coaching the US team as the glory of China volleyball and her match with China as the result of professional ethics.

In fact, from the perspective of world sports exchange, Lang Ping is reasonable. Foreign things serve China and China serves foreign things for a long time, and it is becoming more and more common. The initial rise of China women's volleyball team benefited from the training method of "Oriental Witch" brought by Japanese Daimatsu Bowen. China women's archery broke through this Olympic Games and won the gold medal, which was inseparable from the stunts taught by Korean coaches. Last night, in the women's table tennis team final, the Singaporean team played against the China team, and the coach was Liu's brother Liu. Liang Boxi, the predecessor of the China diving dream team, once became the head coach of the Canadian team after leading Chen to win the Olympic champion. So don't worry about being defeated by one of your own. The key is to be stronger and stronger, just as table tennis has never been bothered by it. As for the traditional culture of China, we should be more open. In the country of etiquette, courtesy comes back and forth, and it is also indecent to come without being indecent.

Of course, there are better ways to take care of the emotional factors of fans. That is the effective "avoiding suspicion" of China Football League. There is an unwritten rule in China Super League and China A in recent years that players and coaches who come out of the opposing side will retreat behind the scenes if they meet "family members" to avoid hurting their bones and being accused. In fact, on the issue of using referees in international competitions, the practice of avoiding suspicion has long existed. Therefore, if Lang Ping can have this knowledge and learn from it, everything will be much more harmonious.

The weathered roof of the Capital Gymnasium was almost "torn off" by the cheers last night. 13,000 spectators here witnessed a complete victory. In the quarterfinals of Beijing Olympic Games, China women's volleyball team beat Russian women's volleyball team 3-0 and advanced to the semi-finals.

The same result as the final of the Athens Olympic Games four years ago is a completely different process. After four years' baptism, the China women's volleyball team, which retains half of its original team, is still strong, while the Russian women's volleyball team is increasingly fragile. "This game is a life-and-death battle." As Chen Zhonghe, head coach of China women's volleyball team, said after the game, "We must play this game, otherwise there will be no chance. But in the process of fighting, the mentality was controlled. Today, the players are in a good state of mind, and they are not very flustered when they are behind. They are not in a hurry to achieve success, and they have played an indomitable spirit. "

At the beginning of the first two games, the women's volleyball team in China was in a state of anxiety-the first game started 0-4, and the second game started 1-4, just like the performance in the two defeats in the group stage. China failed to pass the ball and the attack could not be opened. However, a truly mature team knows how to adjust itself when it is most needed. Last night's China women's volleyball team showed this control over the game.

In the first game, China women's volleyball team tied the score with Wang's strong serve. Since then, the scores of the two sides have been tied, but at the crucial moment, the Russian team frequently made scoring mistakes, and Gamova spiked out of bounds, giving China a good start.

In the second game, Zhou relied on the serve to score 5 points in a row, which led the score back. Since then, Russian coach capra has dispatched troops frequently, but the twin towers of China, Zhao Hema, completely overwhelmed several Russian artillery pieces, and the China women's volleyball team saved two games by blocking when it fell behind 22-24. The Russian team made a mistake in cooperation and lost the game to China.

After losing two games in such a "grievance", the psychological defense of the Russian team gradually collapsed. Although Xue Ming replaced Zhao in the third game, the tower of China Women's Volleyball Team is still an insurmountable Tiananmen Wall. The powerful offensive line that Russian women's volleyball team was proud of was completely dumb, and China women's volleyball team took only one and a half hours to win the whole game.

"I'm so excited, I finally went further. I don't even know what to say! " Li Juan, a teenager, said in a trembling voice after the game, "Before the game, the coach didn't make too many targeted arrangements. We just let go and won. " She, Wang, Ma and other starting players are newcomers with little competition experience, and they played the main role in the Olympic Games against outside doubts. Now they have proved themselves with their achievements, enough to take over the gun of the "golden generation" four years ago.

It is even more difficult for the "golden generation" veteran players who have the aura of Athens Olympic champion. Captain Feng Kun cried twice in the group stage, which once made people worry about her condition. However, standing in front of the old rival in the final four years ago, Feng Kun resumed the general demeanor of calmly dispatching. "Victory is hard-won, and everyone supports and encourages each other. We did encounter some setbacks in the group stage, but we should adjust our mentality in time and decompress ourselves. " Feng Kun said that after the game, she still looked calm, and joy didn't make her cry.

However, this victory made coach Chen Zhonghe get carried away and scored the last point. He even jumped up like he did when he won the championship four years ago. "China team has experienced a lot in these four years, with old players injured, old and new alternating, many setbacks and many disappointments ..." Looking back on this Olympic cycle, Chen Zhonghe was filled with emotion. "But we have always believed in our team, and the consistent goal is the Beijing Olympic Games. Now, as in 2004, we still play every game with our team spirit.
