burdock tea
1
What is burdock tea made of?
Burdock tea is made by soaking burdock roots.
For centuries, the roots, leaves and flowers of burdock have been highly regarded for their medicinal and nutritional values. Burdock grows completely to 1 to 2 meters (3.2 to 6.5 feet), leaves grow to 50 centimeters (19.6 inches), and the bottom is white. Between June and October, plants produce purple flowers from bracts.
2
Improve antioxidant capacity
Burdock root contains phenolic acid, quercetin, luteolin and other antioxidants (all of which can be transferred to tea), which can protect the body from free radical damage to cells.
three
be diuretic
One of the earliest uses of burdock tea was detoxification. It also helps to purify the blood and is known to cause sweating and urination. This effect may be beneficial to the liver, kidney and lymphatic system. Because burdock tea is a diuretic, it can make the body excrete excess toxins, salt and water.
four
boost one's immune system
The content of vitamin C in burdock tea can improve your immune system and promote the production of white blood cells. Other immune enhancement effects that burdock tea may provide include increased collagen production and faster healing and recovery after diseases.
five
What nutrients does burdock tea contain?
Burdock tea is rich in antioxidants such as phenolic acid, luteolin and quercetin. It also contains minerals such as potassium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, calcium and iron, as well as vitamins B 1, B2, B3 and fiber. People who are sensitive to caffeine can drink burdock tea without any problems. As the Tea Classic emphasizes, baked and dried roots, such as burdock roots, can be used as decaffeinated tea substitutes.
