1, water immersion method
Water immersion is the simplest rooting method of Clivia. Clivia bulbs are mainly cut off, disinfected once with proper disinfectant, and then washed once with clear water. Remember not to damage the stems and buds. Just put them in a container filled with clear water, add a little sugar, cut them in the soil after 24 hours, and they can take root in about half a month.
2. Liquid immersion method
Clivia takes root by hydroponics, which is a common cultivation method. Generally, rootless Clivia takes root through hydroponics. First, it selects suitable plants, puts the selected bulbs into a bottle filled with water, completely dilutes the vitamin B 12 injection with appropriate amount of boiling water, then adds a small amount into the bottle, and takes it out for culture after 5 ~ 10 minutes, which can speed up the rooting time.
3. If the drying method is aimed at Clivia rootless, it is best to dry the selected stems in a cool and ventilated place for 5-6 hours. After the wound is dried, put it into a breathable flowerpot and inject a proper amount of water. Then put tap water for one day and one night after exposure. Remember not to change water during rooting, and then inject water after the water slowly evaporates.
4. Heating method
Generally, the rooting temperature of Clivia is 3 ~ 5℃ higher than the water temperature. Increasing the temperature can effectively speed up the rooting time of plants. If the water temperature of the cultivation medium is too low, it can be placed on an electric blanket or a hot air sheet with a thin plate, which can effectively promote the increase of the water temperature.
