Qian Chaochen's interview materials and evaluation
A good teacher can benefit people for life. Mr. Qian said: "studying with Lu Shi is the most unforgettable time in my study career." Every time I talk about this, Mr. Qian has some feelings, which contains Mr. Qian's infinite admiration and deep nostalgia for the teacher. Professor Qian said: "Lu Shi attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' basic skills in teaching, so he also pays special attention to Xu Shen's Shuo Wen Jie Zi, which is the first book in China to systematically analyze Chinese characters and their definitions. It is the focus of the study of Ganjia school and the core of Ganjia academic inheritance. Dai Zhen, Duan Yucai, Wang Niansun, Zhang Taiyan, Huang Kan and Lu Zongda have all carefully studied Xu Shen's Shuo Wen Jie Zi. Duan Yucai's Notes on Shuowen Jiezi is the most outstanding work in the study of Shuowen. Mr. Lu listed Duan's book as the focus of postgraduate study. " Mr. Qian recalled that in order to let his graduate students know the method of studying Shuowen by the Ganjia School and stimulate their interest in studying Shuowen Jiezi Note, Lv Zongda told the story that he studied Shuowen with Huang Kan: Huang Kan asked Lv Zongda to read Duan Yucai's Shuowen Jiezi Note, and for the first time asked him to finish three Harle. Three months later, Huang Kan was deeply satisfied with what Mr. Lu wrote, so he asked Mr. Lu again. Mr. Lu studied day and night and read the Notes on Explaining Words three times as required. Mr. Lu said: I have gained a lot from reading these three times, and many important notes of Duan Yucai are still fresh in my memory. According to Mr. Huang Kan's teaching method, Mr. Lu instructed Mr. Qian to learn Shuowen Jiezi Annotation, and asked Mr. Qian to recite the phonetic symbols of the last six books of Shuowen Jiezi Annotation, so as to make an in-depth study of traditional philology in China. The core of this teaching principle is to read the classic works meticulously, and not to read the classic works, but to study them repeatedly. Mr. Qian kept in mind Lu Shi's academic instruction from Mr. Huang Kan: "Don't kill the head of the book", that is, take a book and read the first few pages, then put it aside after reading it. This is a very bad reading habit. Under the guidance of Mr. Lu, Mr. Qian not only gained rich knowledge of philology, phonology and exegetics, but also learned specific learning methods. Later, Mr. Lu explained the Book of Songs, Zuo Zhuan, The Analects of Confucius, Mencius and Er Ya, and Mr. Qian read all the classics in the notes to the Thirteen Classics. Mr. Lu's lectures, such as Historical Records and Selected Works of Zhaoming, further broadened Mr. Qian's vision of traditional culture, deepened his understanding of China's traditional literature, and laid a good academic foundation for the future study of traditional Chinese medicine literature and China's traditional linguistics.

Mr. Qian has always kept in mind the research method of the Ganjia school, that is, "speak with experience and test the classics with words." Mr. Lu repeatedly stressed that "word-for-word textual research" is a summary of the textual research experience of the old scholars in Gan family. Dai Zhen taught this method to disciple Duan Yucai, and Duan Yucai taught this method to disciple Chen Huan. Until the late Qing Dynasty, Yu Yue still used this method in his works such as hundred schools of thought Review. Mr. Qian's academic works run through this important research method.

Professor Qian told me, "When I was a graduate student, Lu Shi taught six classes a week, gave tutoring to students on time every week, and often invited other famous linguists to give lectures. There is no guiding method like herding sheep. I instruct 20 doctoral and master students. I give myself a schedule to attend classes on time. On the one hand, I standardize myself, on the other hand, I impart knowledge step by step as planned. " Today, Mr. Qian inherits the simple style of study and teaching methods of the Ganjia School in the teaching process, and still attaches great importance to the enrichment and perfection of the basic knowledge structure, taking the older generation as a model and giving lectures to graduate students on time every week. Health is the common pursuit of all of us. When asked about the secret of Qian Lao's health care, Qian Lao said: "The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic tells us that the health care of the wise should also be cold and summer, be in harmony with emotions, and be just and soft. If so, you won't be partial and you will live a long life. "Money old indifferently open-minded. He said that the purpose of pursuing health is not simply to live longer, but to do what you like better. He readily talked about his "sixteen-character formula for health preservation", that is, he is basically vegetarian and has no anger; There are festivals in daily life, and you walk 10,000 steps every day. He believes that modern people live in a reinforced concrete metropolis, with busy work and frequent social interaction, and are prone to excessive tension and mental fatigue. Therefore, they should spare more time to get close to nature, feel the vitality of nature, conform to the way of nature and absorb the essence of heaven and earth. Qian is over 70 years old this year, but he is still hale and hearty. It can be seen that a good attitude and a healthy lifestyle are the keys to a person's health.

Qian Lao's life has never been a career, and he has never worshipped Li Rong. He is quiet inside, and his nature is like Matthew. Treat others all your life, sincerely and willingly; Study all your life, be rigorous and sincere. He was deeply influenced by Gu's "no matter who is related to the Six Classics, he will never write a word", and no matter who is academic, he will never write a word. Mr. Wang has stood on the podium all his life, preaching and giving lessons to solve doubts and giving everything he has. As time goes by, what remains unchanged is his sincere and clear eyes. When generations of students took the road of Chinese medicine from his class, drank the ancient knowledge of Chinese medicine, felt the essence of Chinese medicine theory and brought the gospel to the health of the people, Mr. Qian also gained his own self-sufficiency and complacency.
