2. The Golden Hall, commonly known as the Hall of Supreme Harmony, belongs to one of the three halls of the Forbidden City in Beijing. It is the place where the emperor ascended the throne and held grand ceremonies. It was built in the 18th year of Yongle, the third emperor of Ming Dynasty (1420).
3. Originally named "Fengtian Hall", the Golden Throne Hall was renamed "Huangdian" in the forty-first year of Jiajing (1562). The "Imperial Palace" was used until the second year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1645) before it was renamed "Hall of Supreme Harmony".
4. The places where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties ascended the throne, held ceremonies and offered sacrifices. It is the tallest two-eaves roof building in the world. In addition to a straight ridge at the top of the temple, two double eaves each have four vertical ridges. The main ridge and the vertical ridge are not only gods and animals with different images made of yellow glazed tiles, but also the vertical ridge animals at the top of the temple are unique and varied. Eight vertical ridges are decorated with eighty-eight immortals.
