First, the sleep method: Lu You, a poet of the Southern Song Dynasty, studies by himself at night, which is generally limited to two nights (equivalent to 10). He believes that sleep is the best way to eliminate fatigue, and staying up late often will inevitably lead to dizziness and memory loss. Therefore, he pursues a regular schedule.
Second, sit-in method: Su Shi, a gifted scholar in the Northern Song Dynasty, advocated sit-in for health preservation. He once built a "Xi Xuan" and wrote: "If you have nothing to do, just sit still for two days. If you live 70 years old, it is 140 years old. " Sit-in requires correct posture, slightly closed eyes, whole body relaxation, natural absorption, calm mind, and staying in the abdomen for 15~30 minutes each time. He said it was the best way for the brain to rest.
Third, the walking method: the ancients emphasized that you can't sit down to work or sleep immediately after every meal. For example, Tao Hongjing, a thinker and medical scientist in the Southern Song Dynasty, said, "You don't have to sit or lie down when you are full, but you must do something to disperse." Walk slowly when you walk.
Bathing method: Bathing and changing clothes regularly is not only a good health habit, but also helps to keep a clear head, feel comfortable physically and mentally, and eliminate fatigue. Shen, a scholar in the Song Dynasty, said: "Wash clothes frequently, smell incense, bathe your body number ... then God will win."
Leisure reward method: decorate the courtyard, plant flowers and grass, make the environment elegant, adjust the pace of life and cultivate the mood. Gao Gai, a poet and dramatist in Ming Dynasty, once wrote "Appreciation of Yan Leisure", which regarded appreciating love as an important content of literati's health preservation.
Sixth, the method of traveling all over: Su Wu said: "The mountains and rivers are romantic, and impermanence is a teacher." Taking advantage of holidays to go sightseeing, join nature and explore miracles can make people feel relaxed, tired and depressed.
Seven. Sleeping and swimming method: Ni Zan, a famous painter in Yuan Dynasty, called it "a bed full of chrysanthemums and a mountain full of walls" in his poem "Gu Zhongzhe sees imitation". In the case of being too old and too weak to travel, there are many landscape paintings on the wall of the living room, staying at home and lying down to enjoy them. Ornamental art is also a good way to cultivate temperament.
