Zhuangzi's Fable: Three Enemies of Health Preservation Methods
Zhuangzi said in Waipian Sheng Da that the best way to preserve one's health is to cultivate one's heart. At the same time, it also talks about the phenomenon that hinders health preservation.

In Zhuangzi's view, there are three enemies in the regimen:

First, selfishness is too heavy.

Self-interest is too heavy, and it is easy to hurt. Because selfishness can make a person greedy and tangled.

If you have selfishness for a long time, you will get up For example, if a person is very materialistic, he will want a lot of things. To get these things, he has to work. Too much work and worry will lead to mental exhaustion and physical overdraft, which goes against the original intention of keeping in good health.

In this regard, Zhuangzi said: "If you are simply indifferent, you can't worry, and evil spirits can't attack, so you have a comprehensive morality and no loss."

If a person can be abstinent, then evil spirits can't invade the human body, so he is full of spirit and energy.

Second, indulge your own desires.

Indulgence can easily lead to disaster. For example, if you indulge your appetite, it will inevitably lead to overnutrition and easily lead to diseases. Obesity leads to "three highs" and diabetes.

In Zhuangzi's view, a person's vision, hearing, smell and thoughts should be measured. If you indulge too much, it will bring disaster to yourself, which is not conducive to longevity.

Third, bad temper.

If a person has a bad temper, there is no way to keep a calm mind, which will easily lead to physical disorders and then various diseases.

Zhuangzi also pointed out that if a person's mood goes beyond this level, it will cause all kinds of pathological changes.

From these three points, we can see that a good health preservation method starts from the spirit. This view of nourishing the spirit is consistent with the proposition of "keeping the spirit inside and being content with illness" in Huangdi Neijing.

Right, right is self-improvement, and self-improvement is a few! What left Xi Zu behind and gave birth to Xi Zu? Abandoning things means no effort, and staying alive means no loss. The husband's shape is completely exquisite, and he is one with the sky. Heaven and earth are the mother of all things. When we are together, we become adults, and when we are separated, we become the beginning. The essence of form is not lacking, which means it can move. Fine and fine, just the opposite.
