Quails generally live in the grass of plains, hills, swamps, lakes and streams, and sometimes move in bushes. I like to nest on the grass near the water, and sometimes I nest under the bushes. The nest structure is simple. Generally, I dig a shallow hole in the ground and spread fine grass or technical leaves of plants. The padding in the nest is about 1.5cm thick and very soft, with a diameter of about 10cm. There are 7 ~ 14 eggs, and the eggs are yellowish brown. There are brown patches, and the average size of eggs is 30 × 24 mm. Quails mainly feed on plant seeds, buds and twigs, and sometimes they also eat insects and invertebrates. When frightened, it only flies a short distance and lurks in the grass. Multi-cluster during migration.
Hope to adopt, thank you!
