With the approval of the State Administration of Market Supervision and the National Standards Committee, the terminology and classification standard GB ∕ T 17204-202 1 came into effect on June 1 2022. It is clearly stipulated in this national standard that dew wine refers to yellow wine and white wine as the wine base, and substances that are traditionally food, Chinese herbal medicines and specific food raw materials or meet relevant regulations are added.
This standard replaces the old dew standard GB/T 27588-20 1 1 and redefines dew. Dew wine has become a major category of beverage wine, alongside distilled wine, fermented wine and mixed wine.
Common dew wines include Fenjiu Zhuyeqing, Jin Jiu and Sizhuang Liquor.
