How is the logo printed on the cup? What tools can I use to print? Ensure long-term colorfastness.
At present, there are two general printing methods:

1, screen printing

More suitable for simple patterns composed of color blocks.

Advantages: plate making is convenient and cheap, and the printed pattern has a three-dimensional effect.

Disadvantages: you can't print too fine patterns. Unable to print gradient colors. Each color needs to be printed once, so when there are many LOGO colors, the color registration will be prone to deviation. If the material of the plastic cup is hard (such as PS, acrylic, etc. ), double-sided LOGO can also be set more accurately. If it is a soft material (such as PP, etc. ), for multi-color double-sided LOGO, there will be many phenomena of inaccurate color registration.

2, thermal transfer:

More complex patterns need accurate color matching patterns, especially the LOGO with gradient color.

Advantages: As mentioned above, complex (more than 4 colors) and gradually discolored patterns must be thermally transferred. In addition, no matter how many colors there are, they can be printed on a piece of film, and can be "transferred" to the cup with a heated glue head when making.

Disadvantages: the plate-making fee is relatively expensive, generally about 400 RMB for one color, plus 2 or 3 working colors. For example, if you have a LOGO with five colors, they have to pay a plate-making fee of (5+2)*400=2800. Then I have to go to the computer to make a sample for you. The starting fee is 300 yuan. That kind of printing machine is very big.

The printing factory I cooperate with, their biggest machine is 10 color machine. The length of this machine is about 20 meters, maybe a little longer. Anyway, this end of my machine is called the worker's master at the other end, and he will never hear it because the machine is louder.

The above two printing methods will also be affected by the number of orders-the shape of the printed surface-the size of the printed LOGO itself. According to the specific situation, we can determine which method to use.

I will post some corresponding pictures when I am in the company tomorrow, so it will be easier to distinguish.

There are other methods, but they are not commonly used.

For example, water transfer printing can only be used to print some stripe patterns, such as zebra stripes, because it is impossible to accurately control the position. The cost is high, so I don't need to talk about it.
